The admission process was pretty smooth and nice. I took the NEET exam after that counselling happened. The cutoff for the college was about 625 and I got 621. There were doctors sitting in front of us. After the paperwork was done we were asked to get checked by the doctors of the respective departments I.e. surgery, ent, etc. Then after that, we were introduced to only the anatomy department labs and museum. The thing that I would have liked to get included would be a visit to other departments as well as an introduction to our respective faculties.
The candidate must have qualified for NEET in that academic year. The application form is available on the official website of NEET fees are around 1600 for general and 1500 for general_ews and OBC, 900 for SC/ ST/ PH category. As per Government regulations for NEET reservation criteria, 27% of seats for OBC, 10% of seats for EWS, 15% of seats for SC, and 7.5% of seats for ST are reserved in Central Universities and state medical colleges. Yeah, I would definitely want to see some changes like the schedule of counseling and admission should be informed to the applicants as early as possible to avoid the rush at the end moment. This should be followed for hostel admission also. People should be counseled properly by college students only before joining the college because MBBS requires a lot of hard work and dedication.
You have to qualify NEET for admission to this college. The cut-off is Neary 615 marks for general students. U have to go through a medical test during the admission process. There are no application fees for the admission process as such. Once u qualify NEET the admission forms and all the other formalities will b fulfilled at the college itself. U can find the application form, application fees, and application date on the official website of the college. The admission process is quite smooth and I don't think any improvement is needed.
No interview or group discussion is made. NEET qualification is the only criteria. If you obtain good rank, you have to attend counselling. Here if you are eligible, then only you can avail the admission.
The college is very good with all facilities such as hostel; library; mess; auditorium; hospital and many more. Bt the campus is not that great just a small one. Admission is via online counseling. Very good faculties and heavy rush of patients which is very helpful in clinical studies. Website of the college is www.vimsra.ac.in.
This college have a track record of studies along with all curricular activities. Adding to that the the location away from city makes it a great place for study and provide less distraction. The college has one of the largest campus in odisha. The other side add up as more number of students being selected for post graduate after mbbs due to better resources.
There is a exam called NEET for admissions in any medical college of India then according to the status of marks and our choice of college the seats are provided. The counseling process is also of 2 types one is all india based and other is state based. My selection was through state process in which I got my seat in burla.
I took admission in this college by giving interview and got Direct admission and my father suggested me for doing this course and then I took admission in this college and no further things required for admission
I got admission by giving interview and I got admission by little hard process and hard work and then I get to know about this college and then I got admission in this college and it is a wonderful experience
The college has the minimum criteria to have a minimum of 40% aggregate from a recognized board in PCB/PCMB stream. The selection/admission takes place on the basis of the candidate's score in NEET Examination.
