Review about Vimsar

Remarks :

The candidate must have qualified for NEET in that academic year. The application form is available on the official website of NEET fees are around 1600 for general and 1500 for general_ews and OBC, 900 for SC/ ST/ PH category. As per Government regulations for NEET reservation criteria, 27% of seats for OBC, 10% of seats for EWS, 15% of seats for SC, and 7.5% of seats for ST are reserved in Central Universities and state medical colleges. Yeah, I would definitely want to see some changes like the schedule of counseling and admission should be informed to the applicants as early as possible to avoid the rush at the end moment. This should be followed for hostel admission also. People should be counseled properly by college students only before joining the college because MBBS requires a lot of hard work and dedication.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The real reason why I choose this college is my dad wants me to be a doctor and I want to see him happy. There are 19 departments here in medical college and there are 20-50 faculty(including PGs n SR) and there are nearly 1000 students studying here. So the faculty students ratio is quite good. All are at least MBBS qualified which means they are quite knowledgeable. Tutors teach very well Every week we have a weekly test. In one year we appear for 2 semesters and one Medical board exam. And the medical Board is quite tough.

Internships Opportunities :

After MBBS we get internships here only, in our college. Internship refers to a training program in which an MBBS graduate is able to learn methods/modalities to administer actual practice of medical and health care.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees are around 1.2 lakh per year. If you are from Odisha then you will have many scholarship options like, State portal scholarship, Odisha. Medhabruti etc. I got state portal scholarship for 3 years It is based on family income and reservations

Campus Life :

A group of elected members in a college campus that is devoted to student activities and that usually contains lounges, auditoriums, offices, and game rooms. The purpose of these organizations is to represent students both within the institution and externally, including on local and national issues. Students unions are also responsible for providing a variety of services to students.

Hostel Facilities :

To be honest I am in heaven considering the hostel facilities. It is awesome Because we don't have in time. And it is really good since it favours women empowerment. Fan, bed, chair, table, light these are the facilities provided here Along with that we have inverters n an air conditioned study room Meal is average All the MBBS student can stay here

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs curriculum is vast and hard. Here we have 2 internal exams where 50% is mandatory to pass and these are tough. Final MBE exam occurs at end of year mostly and here also 50% is mandatory to pass else we have to sit for supplementary exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is much required to improve the course curriculum and teaching method. Some things like theory class should be improved so many students should attend the classes and feel it interesting. The clinical classes are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is really vast and due to the recent guidelines of CBME it is made interesting focusing more on practical's and patient interaction rather than only theory teaching. It would be much more better if there would be MCQ based tests regularly which would make it easier for our upcoming entrance exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medicine is a ever evolving curriculum with new stuff being found every year. Most of the faculties have attained foreign fellowships and are up to date with any recent advances. This is reflected on their methodology of teaching and the content of the course. Clinical aspects of every subject are immensly focused upon and its relevance in a hospital setting is discussed extensively.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a Doctor. So I chose this course. Faculties are very few, to be honest. Teachers are mostly doctors and with pg. Exams are held at the end of the year. It's called a Medical board examination. You have to score 50% in theory and practical separately to pass.
