50 shades of VIMSAR

Remarks :

You have to qualify NEET for admission to this college. The cut-off is Neary 615 marks for general students. U have to go through a medical test during the admission process. There are no application fees for the admission process as such. Once u qualify NEET the admission forms and all the other formalities will b fulfilled at the college itself. U can find the application form, application fees, and application date on the official website of the college. The admission process is quite smooth and I don't think any improvement is needed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I personally wanted to b a doctor since childhood that's why I have chosen this course. In daily lectures the faulty to teacher ratio is 1:200 . The minimum qualification of each and every faculty is MBBS and the teaching method is quite good enough. Every year you have to face 3 internal exams and one final exam and is quite difficult to pass the exams, especially the final one

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike policy is totally based upon government rules and the college has no control over it the total cost of the study is about 1 lakh per year including almost everything. There is no such scholarship that one can get from college though you can apply for government scholarships that require college verification.

Campus Life :

Usually, one annual fest is organized by the students union in the month of April to May. All the books are available in the library. All the basic amenities like a projector, smart board, ac are there in the classroom. Annual sports function is also held in the college. The official students union website is being run by the students

Hostel Facilities :

Only the basic amenities are fulfilled in the hostel. You don't get any laundry service or ac in the hostels. The meal is provided by the private mess and food quality depends on which mess you choose. There is no registration process for college, you get it during the admission process, and is very much affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs curriculum is vast and hard. Here we have 2 internal exams where 50% is mandatory to pass and these are tough. Final MBE exam occurs at end of year mostly and here also 50% is mandatory to pass else we have to sit for supplementary exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is much required to improve the course curriculum and teaching method. Some things like theory class should be improved so many students should attend the classes and feel it interesting. The clinical classes are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is really vast and due to the recent guidelines of CBME it is made interesting focusing more on practical's and patient interaction rather than only theory teaching. It would be much more better if there would be MCQ based tests regularly which would make it easier for our upcoming entrance exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medicine is a ever evolving curriculum with new stuff being found every year. Most of the faculties have attained foreign fellowships and are up to date with any recent advances. This is reflected on their methodology of teaching and the content of the course. Clinical aspects of every subject are immensly focused upon and its relevance in a hospital setting is discussed extensively.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a Doctor. So I chose this course. Faculties are very few, to be honest. Teachers are mostly doctors and with pg. Exams are held at the end of the year. It's called a Medical board examination. You have to score 50% in theory and practical separately to pass.
