I got admitted in this college in Sep 2023. one thing I liked the most is that seniors here are supportive. there is no ragging scenery here. bootcamps and workshops are being conducted on a regular basis by seniors. Teachers are also supportive.
Campus area of my college is about 40 acres. campus is clean and green. trees are planted alongside the paths which adds a natural beauty to the campus.

Dislikes

campus is about 5 km away from the market. transportation seems a problem here.
placement scenery is very bad here. very less package are offered and that too to a very less number of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

syllabus is provides by the university. Bihar Engineering University, Patna. cirriculum of the syllabus for each course is well defined and focus to the application based learning. each course tend to solve some real world problems. two exams i.e. mide sem and end sem, and monthly class tests are conducted in a semester. mid sem question paper is set by college faculties so these exams are little bit easier than end sem exam.

College is established in 2012 under the Bihar government under the department of science and technology Bihar
Now college provide good infrastructure and good food

Dislikes

The college location is very bad place ..that means college in villages area
The ratio of girls is very low rather than boy

College, Placement and campus life

Taking into consideration that it may fall under tier 3 or tier 4 college, the infrastructure is comparatively good. You get 5 hostels and one girls hostel, bank, gym, canteen, lab building and academic building.
The tech fests or other cultural activities keep talking place in regular interval which helps in overall development of a student.

Dislikes

The teaching and learning environment as can be expected is not that great.
Labs are quite good but the machines sometimes don't work properly which hampers the learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum designed by (before) AKU and now BEU is quite good. You learn a programming language in 1st sem itself and then engineering drawing in 2nd sem and dsa. Likewise it's good if we compare with the contemporary syllabuses of the college. It gives more credit to your internship and project which is good for industry friendly approach.

I like the campus stay here for 4 years because it is beautiful and green lush campus outside the city.
Hostel facility is good. Enough hostels are there to accommodate all the students and especially for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good for every Branch like CSE, EEE, MECHANICAL, and CIVIL respectively. I choosen Computer science and engineering because I like the curriculum which is relevant to today's technology. In this curriculum, we opted for AI, Machine Learning, etc.

Course curriculum is little outdated which is the things on which university need to work to make it. Industry relevant but now everything is available online so you can study from YouTube, udemy , Coursera, mitopen courseware according to your interest and build a strong profile that aligns with your future goal

The best thing about LNJPIT, chapra is it's fees. As 80% of cost are beared by government, it's very good choice for financially weaker students. Less than 2Lakhs for 4 year engineering is best.
Sports & extracurriculars are better than other colleges in Bihar. College is in 45 acres and there are badminton courts, volleyball courts in each hostels. There are dedicated grounds for cricket and football.

Dislikes

Less hands on experience, Labs are not well maintained like majority of government engineering colleges.
75% attendance is biggest headaches for the students especially who are preparing for competitive exams.

Seeing the growth opportunity in the field of computer science I chosed this course. Faculty to student ratio is relatively low in CSE department. Approximately 1/35. All the faculty are well qualified and from premier institutions like IIT, NITs. The recruitment of faculties are happens through exam conducted by BPSC

I liked the most which is campus life of my college

Dislikes

No one can get placed through college effort . Placement cell of this college is useless.
Faculty are not so coperative, the way of teaching is so poor even they can't visited practical lab for providing practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The electrical engineering curriculum includes courses in electric circuits, electromagnetism, optics, control systems, Digital signal processing, Electrical machines, etc. Student and teacher ratio is 1:60, one teacher for 60 students. Maximum faculty are M.tech holder and not all faculty have experience in their own subject field, Mainly faculty are not cooperative. Mostly exam taken in time duration, And it's not difficult to pass semester exams it's paper mainly easy.

College Campus infrastructure according to me is best.
Faculties are best because every faculty where from IIT background they provide you best knowledge.

Dislikes

During my time their is only one water cooler available in college campus so you have to go to academic building to fill your bottles.
Placement issues are there, during my time maximum batchmates are not able to get a job

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen Electrical and Electronics Engineering because I have a keen interest in electronics. In my branch, there are 8 faculties. Some are permanent employed and some are partnered. All the faculties are well qualified from various IITs and their teaching method is best. Term exams occur in a timely manner and you have to study hard to clear the semester examinations.
