The candidate should be a citizen of India.
One has to pass the 10+2 examination with aggregate marks or intermediate examination from a recognized university or the student must have done the ¾ year diploma course with a combination of PCM from any AICTE approved institute.
Students must have qualified for the entrance examination.

Application Process

The Application Process for B.Tech. through BCECE is detailed below.

One has to visit the official website of the examination and has to fill up the required details before the last date to apply.
one has to fill up the information regarding the JEE-Main score, DOB, email ID, and contact number asked in step-1 of the application form.
Then one has to activate the account by the activation code received through the SMS in the given contact number.
Then one has to again sign in to the account and has to fill in the information regarding the personal details.
Then the candidate has to upload the recent scanned photograph and signature and has to click on the ‘save and continue’ button.
Then verify the data you entered and edit it if required and then submit the form.
Then one has to pay the registration/ counselling fees through online mode.
Download the hard copy of the online submitted form for the future process.

LNJPIT Chapra Scholarships

The students of the college can the following two scholarship schemes:

SAKSHAM Scholarship Scheme- The scholarship under AICTE provides financial support of INR 50,000/- per annum (INR 30,000/- as tuition fee and INR 20,000/- as a contingency fee) to 1000 students (500 from degree and 500 from diploma) to pursue technical education every year.	The candidate must be admitted to the first year of Degree/Diploma course in any of the AICTE approved institutes.
PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme- The scholarship provides financial support of INR 50,000/- per annum (INR 30,000 /- as tuition fee and INR 20,000/- as a contingency fee) to 4000 girls (2000 from each of the diploma and degree).	The candidate must be admitted to the first year of Degree/Diploma course in any of the AICTE approved institute. Selection of the candidate will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

College is alloted through Jee mains percentile.
Students can finish their b.tech in minimal fee.

Dislikes

College provide placements in sales executive, not in core engineering.
College is located almost 8 km away from the city.

Admission:

I had done councelling for WBJEE, and also get private college through it, but I choose this college because of the fees. I get rejected from jee advanced exam. College admission process is simple, UGEAC councelling is conducted in bihar through Jee mains examination.

I got admitted in this college in Sep 2023. one thing I liked the most is that seniors here are supportive. there is no ragging scenery here. bootcamps and workshops are being conducted on a regular basis by seniors. Teachers are also supportive.
Campus area of my college is about 40 acres. campus is clean and green. trees are planted alongside the paths which adds a natural beauty to the campus.

Dislikes

campus is about 5 km away from the market. transportation seems a problem here.
placement scenery is very bad here. very less package are offered and that too to a very less number of students.

Admission:

eligibility of the course - 10+2 with mathematics and physics from a recognised board. Admissions are done through two counsellings. one is UGEAC (Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling) which are done on the basis of JEE Main Exam. another is BCECE exam councelling. JEE Main exam is tough but cracking BCECE Ecam is too easy. you can find application form and all details on the website of BCECE Board. one third seats are reserved for gilrs.

Now college provide good infrastructure and good food

Dislikes

The college location is very bad place ..that means college in villages area
The ratio of girls is very low rather than boy

The eligibility for admission is apper in jee mains exam...and no specific age limit...also through bcece admission occurs...the reservation benifits of sc st students is examination fees 700 while gen 1700 for others...

Taking into consideration that it may fall under tier 3 or tier 4 college, the infrastructure is comparatively good. You get 5 hostels and one girls hostel, bank, gym, canteen, lab building and academic building.
The tech fests or other cultural activities keep talking place in regular interval which helps in overall development of a student.

Dislikes

The teaching and learning environment as can be expected is not that great.
Labs are quite good but the machines sometimes don't work properly which hampers the learning.

Admission:

Admission process is very easy. You just have to show all the documents like the mail received,your score card, residential, income and your category specific if you belong to. Then there is medical certificate. Now due to opening of so many engineering colleges in bihar the availability of seats has increased . So you can get admission very easily.

I like the campus stay here for 4 years because it is beautiful and green lush campus outside the city.
Hostel facility is good. Enough hostels are there to accommodate all the students and especially for girls.

Admission:

You should have to attempt Jee mains exam for the admission here. Reservation are allowed for non general students like OBC, ST, SC, PWD, EWS. Admission is done by the Bihar Government website so you have to check regularly for the admission process

To get admission into LNJPIT Chapra you should be jee main qualified and then go for bcece counseling based on your jee main percentile you get the admission here cutoff is offen between 75 to 80 percentile

Likes

The best thing about LNJPIT, chapra is it's fees. As 80% of cost are beared by government, it's very good choice for financially weaker students. Less than 2Lakhs for 4 year engineering is best.
Sports & extracurriculars are better than other colleges in Bihar. College is in 45 acres and there are badminton courts, volleyball courts in each hostels. There are dedicated grounds for cricket and football.

Dislikes

Less hands on experience, Labs are not well maintained like majority of government engineering colleges.
75% attendance is biggest headaches for the students especially who are preparing for competitive exams.

Admission:

Admissions in LNJPIT, Chapra happens on basis of the jee mains score and the BCECE counselling. From 2023 the seats in computer science engineering were increased by 60 seats(60+60=120 total). Application for BCECE counselling generally starts after one month of jee mains result(ie 2nd jee mains attempt). Fee to participate in the counselling is ?800. Refer this-https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ 75% of seats are reserved, 43% for BC+EBC, 10% for EWS, 20% for SC, 2% for ST. Additionally 33% of the seats are reserved for girl candidates in all these catogory rservation. Rest, 25% seats are unreserved. Admission dates get rescheduled every year, creating lots of questions to the candidates. It should be fixed.

I liked the most which is campus life of my college

Dislikes

No one can get placed through college effort . Placement cell of this college is useless.
Faculty are not so coperative, the way of teaching is so poor even they can't visited practical lab for providing practical knowledge.

Admission:

It is admission on the basis of Jee Mains scorecard. Firstly to gain admission, you have to Register for the UGEAC by providing basic details like name, mobile number, and email address. Login using the credential to fill out the detailed application form. The course duration of B.Tech is 4 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.tech admission is that the candidate should pass 10+2 with PCM subject.
