- I got admitted in this college in Sep 2023. one thing I liked the most is that seniors here are supportive. there is no ragging scenery here. bootcamps and workshops are being conducted on a regular basis by seniors. Teachers are also supportive.
- Campus area of my college is about 40 acres. campus is clean and green. trees are planted alongside the paths which adds a natural beauty to the campus.
Dislikes
- campus is about 5 km away from the market. transportation seems a problem here.
- placement scenery is very bad here. very less package are offered and that too to a very less number of students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
syllabus is provides by the university. Bihar Engineering University, Patna. cirriculum of the syllabus for each course is well defined and focus to the application based learning. each course tend to solve some real world problems. two exams i.e. mide sem and end sem, and monthly class tests are conducted in a semester. mid sem question paper is set by college faculties so these exams are little bit easier than end sem exam.
Placement Experience :
Placements csenery is very bad here. very less number of companies visits here and they offer very less package. To get placement here, you have to choose off campus placement. companies visit here are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL. very less number of students are placed, about 40%. highest placement offer is 20 lpa from off campus. my plan is to do Mtech after this degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tution fee is about 3000 per year. exam fee is 3700 (for Genral and OBC students) and 700 (for SC/ST students) per semester. hostel fee is about 8000 per semester and mess fee is 3000 per month. total cost of education will be about 3.5 lakh including all expenses. bihar student credit card scheme is offered to all courses here. scholarships that can be availed are PMS (Post Matric scgolarship) in which all fees of a academic year is retained.
Campus Life :
annual festival - Astitwa. astitwa is help in the month of september. festival lasts for 1 week. technical, cultural and art events are organised. library facilities are good. we can find all books related to our fiels of study. books for Competitve exams like GATE, UPSC are also available in the libraray. sports events are conducted every month like EPL (Engineering premier league), Football League, VPL (volleyball Premier League). Inter college sports event is organised every year in the month of november. there are clubs for everything, like technical club, literary club, sports club, art and culture club.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel facility is good as per fees. there are five hostels in the campus. single room, double bed room, and three bed rooms are available. hostel fee is about 8000 per semester i.e. 1200 per month. meal quality is average. menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. non-veg (chicken, fish and eggs) are provided three days in a week. mess fee is 3000 per month.
Admission :
eligibility of the course - 10+2 with mathematics and physics from a recognised board. Admissions are done through two counsellings. one is UGEAC (Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling) which are done on the basis of JEE Main Exam. another is BCECE exam councelling. JEE Main exam is tough but cracking BCECE Ecam is too easy. you can find application form and all details on the website of BCECE Board. one third seats are reserved for gilrs.
Faculty :
Faculties are recruited through BPSC exam. so they are expertised in their fields. class strength is of 60 students, so teachers are well able to teach properly and identify students problems and solvr them. each teacher have their own methology to teach and they teach well. mentorship is provided by teachers. students have option to choose their mentor. Some teachers are boring also, for that subject we have to study from youtube.
