St Joseph's College Kohima Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Most of the things are near perfection here. I love and admire every one of the events and activities they provide if I'm rightly answering the question. I love this college and I encourage everyone to join this college after competing in their 12 standard.

I have pursued science till my 12, but my interest soon shifted to civil services and so I wanted to either take history or political science as my majors and eventually I decided to take history The course has offered me excellent teaching and better understanding of the history of the world,India and my state Nagaland The course could be a little more elaborative in the history of the Asian peninsula Only the important events and countries have been highlighted Their are 2 exams in a semester 1.internal exams This exams is part of our internal marks And we are meant to study 2-3 units for 30 marks which is then converted to 10 marks for our internals The timing is 2 hours 2. Semester exams This exams is for our external marks And 5 units come for the exam The time allotted is 3 hrs The the exams are very easy if we study and in my opinion should be a little more difficult

The time given during exams is quiet sufficient and normal,as a college student we must learn to adjust with the timings and perform our 100% . The curriculum of this college (The big events) had caught my interest to join this college. This big events like spring fest helps us to communicate and contribute ourselves in social welfares. The improvement that is needed in teaching is that it will be better for the teachers and staff members if they teach the students in such way that the students can freely analyse and think out of the box.

From the 1at semester, the student is eligible to take admissions here. Companies like Reliance, Tata and Amazon come here to take the review. There are chances of 60% of students getting placements. I'm planning to join JNU Delhi for higher studies in future to opt for my PhD.

Students are not given direct placements but the college provides recommendations for students who seek it. I'm doing my M.A at the moment.

The college is very good it not only provide good education but also mold a student from every sector.

There are limited job placements provided. It is reserved for the final semester students. In association with several companies and Agencies, the College provide limited job placements. However, it may not be provided every year.

I chose this university as it has very experienced faculty and good environment. There is also good facilities for students. I opted the BA course as I wanted to indulge and have more knowledge in politics.

I would like to say that St Joseph college is one of the best college I have ever known.always arise and shine.once a josephite always a josephite.but one of the negative thing about our college is that in student bodies there is tribalism and its an evil thing.I will like to ask the authorities to do away with tribalism.

I opted for this college because this college is one of the top most colleges in Nagaland with the best infrastructure and good environment away from the Main capital city. And for which I took up my studies in Bachelor of Arts in Political science Department.
