The best part of the course is the course fees. If u want to get a BTech degree it costs a lot. Secondly, it's one of the greatest colleges in terms of chemical engineering. So, faculties are good enough and their teaching skill is also good. Exams are conducted every semester and for each semester you need to go through 2 sessional exams as well. So, the examination process is good enough to educate the students.
I choose chemical engineering bcoz this branch is available in very less colleges and UICET is one of the best colleges for chemical engineering in North India. All the faculty are good but some are egoist in nature. Most of the faculty teaching from the 2nd year are professors but some are also Ph.D. scholars, they are good at teaching. it is a little bit difficult to get a good CG. Bcoz 40% marks is necessary for the external exam to pass and there is two mid sem exam that happens and their average marks are added.
The main reason for selecting this college is its low fee structure and high placement offers (especially for the chemical branch). Around 90 students are present in the chemical branch every year. The teaching method is very good, teachers have high-level knowledge.
This college offers the best chemical engineering courses all over India. It is a specialized college for chemical engineering. The faculty is well experienced (PhDs). Also well developed labs and infrastructure.
I took this course because it is different than other professional courses and it has wider scope in the future. Faculty members are well educated with unique ways of teaching. Some of them are in Research and doing very well in it. Exams are actually dependent on the decisions of higher authority and we can easily pass if stick to the lectures.
The course curriculum and faculty are good. The senior faculty here is very experienced and is quite versed in their area of expertise. There are two exams one is mid sem and the other is end sem. The difficulty level of exams depends on the subject.
I chose B.E Chemical because in my case I had an interest in this course from the very beginning and this college is one of the best colleges in North India for chemical engineering because of its alumni network and reputation. The college was established in 1958. The faculty here is very cooperative and understanding. Most of the faculty members are very highly qualified and have great knowledge of their subjects. There are also guest faculties for some subjects. But whether it is a guest faculty or a permanent one the teaching method of each is very nice and most of the concepts get cleared in the class itself. There are 2 mid-semester exams and a final term exam papers are of moderate level and if you have studied the concepts properly it is easy to pass these exams.
i chose this course as i had an interest in the chemical engineering subject. the faculty to student ratio depends actually. if there is a lecture hall they can accommodate 100 students where one teacher delivers the lecture.Where as in the labs the class is divided into 3 groups so it's 30:1 in labs whereas 100:1 in classes. Qualification is excellent and the teaching method is also good. exams are on time and the difficulty is medium.
I tend to choose this course because chemical industries have a great scope in near future. Moreover, this is the course which is not known to many people hence the competition is less and opportunities are more. The faculty here is very good, friendly and makes the lectures worth listening to. Honestly, most of the college tenure went online so it wasn't that difficult to pass but yes teachers were very cooperative and through their guidance, I passed with a good cgpa.
