Likes

The college has a wonderful campus including fully furnished labs, classrooms, and library.
The placement in CSE/IT is really very good, and almost all the students get placed well, though I am a CSE student

Dislikes

I have nothing bad to say, but I would rate my college as 8.5 out of 10.0.
1st dislike reason is fest are not in a one year is so disappointing.

The college environment is very favourable for education.
The labs are well equipped and spacious, which makes the practical classes fun.

Our time schedule is a little bit tight.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are quite good. More than 90% of students get placed in good companies. All our seniors have been placed in good companies and some have even opted for higher studies. Some of the companies visiting the college include Capgemini, Keventer, Nestle, TCS, etc. The salary packages varies from 300000 to 500000 per annum.

Faculties would be my favourite thing about GNIT.
Behaviour of the seniors are appreciable.

Dislikes

Library facilities can surely be better.
Toilet hygiene should be maintained as it's necessary.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for jobs. Different companies usually comes are Bengal beverages, cookme, ITC food, keventer, Nestle, parley, dream bake, etc. Usual packages are 3 to 4 lakh per annum. I'm planning to do higher studies after gaining some job experience.

The environment of teaching and the quality of education delivered
The friendly approach of the faculty members and the encouragement they provide to the students.

Dislikes

Sometimes the burden of assignments and exams are too frequent, it becomes difficult to cope up.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for sitting for campus placements. Several companies visit the college and Employ the students as per their requirements. The average package offered here ranges from 3 to 4 Lakh per annum. My plan after getting the degree as of now is to opt for higher studies for better opportunities.

About GNIT I liked the faculty, teachers they are very good and approachable.
I like the entire GNIT campus, and the environment.

Dislikes

GNIT is very much possesive towards students
Frequency of exam and projects were very high.

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 6th or 7th semester, students are eligible for placement. We have Nestle, Cookme, Parle Biscuit, Keventer, ITC food, Biskfarm, Dream Bake, etc there are the companies that usually come for our placements. The highest salary paid is 5 lakh per annum and the average is 3 to 4 lacks per annum. About 95 to 98 % of students get placements. My plan is to go for higher studies after this.

The college infrastructure are quite good and and environment is very nice for study.
The lab are well equipped and faculty members are very much helpful.

Placement Experience:

The placement is too good. Many companies come for placements every year. Maximum students get jobs based on their skill from campus. Some got other multiple offers. Faculty members help us to crack the interview round. Placement eligibility starts in 3 rd year.

I like the most about GNIT is the wide green beautiful and fresh environment.
I respect and like my faculty members and obviously the college campus.

Placement Experience:

Companies visited here are KEVENTER agro, Nestle, Parle biscuits, Cookme. Package are from 2 to 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placements are 95% to 98%.I want to be a food technichian and want to do job in food company.

Very good and big campus.realy good teacher.
The campaign of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Hostel are not good and the room are very small
The food quality is not good of the college

From 4 th year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like tcs wipro etc visit the college. 90 % of students placed in the campaigns. I want to do M.tech after completing my degree.

The faculty of our college was really good and welcoming.
The Infrastructure of the college was innovative and modern with labs, classrooms, sports ground and academic sections

The college did not give proper placement to most of the core engineering branch students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to study Engineering after my higher-secondary exam and I wanted to go for a core subject like Electrical Engineering. I sat for the West Bengal Joint Entrance exam and after getting the required rank I secured admission to my college Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. The college has a very good Electrical Engineering department with state-of-the-art labs for various important subjects like power systems, power electronics, control systems, electrical machines, digital electronics, and computer systems. The faculty was highly qualified with all the HODs being PhD and the faculty-student ratio was 1:30 at our time. Most of the faculties had previous teaching experience at premier Institutes like NIT, JU, and BITS. The teaching method was unique and innovative with practical demonstrations and attention given to each and every student. There were 8 semesters and exams took place at the end of each semester and passing the exams was moderately difficult.

After 3rd-year students are eligible for placement. Companies like Wipro TCS cape Gemini come to our college with a number of jobs. 95% of students got placed each year with an average placement of 6 lakhs. Some students got selected for multiple offers. Placement is totally dependent on your skills. Most of the students got selected for the IT field.
