What is the cutoff for VIIT Pune CSE/IT?

VIIT Pune cutoff for CSE/IT usually stays around 100 or above in CET examination. During 2021 admission the required CET cutoff was 90.53 and 92.47 for IT and CSE, respectively. For TFWS seats, the required score usually stays above 125 or more. VIIT Pune accepts JEE Main scores as well. CSE and IT cutoff scores for JEE Mains 2021 were 2401 and 3012, respectively.

Meanwhile, for SC and OBC candidates, the cutoff were 16197 and 6665 respectively. VIIT Pune JEE Main cutoff for 2023 for B.Tech CSE (AI) differed across each round: 3561 for Round 1, 3735 for Round 2 and 3694 for Round 3.

The infrastructure of college is quite good. It has two cafeterias and 5 to 6 messes and food is good too. The teachers are quite good. They teach you in quite a fun manner
There is a club for creative interests as well. I personally was in that club and the experience was amazing

Dislikes

The semester examination papers have literally no gap in between making it a very hectic process to study

Admission:

All courses here are of 4 years The admission process is directly through the state CET exam and JEE exams. For people who have reservation the college fees is significantly reduced and the increase in the fees is also less. Ranging from 5000 rs per year.

Syllabus is first aspect which is to be considered while taking admission.In this college syllabus is very beautifully designed

College outer area it is slum area backside of college it is full of slums

To take any course in this college students are required to give mhtcet and 12 board examination. Admission are done on the basis of mhtcet Percentile.Cuttoff are high if we talk about tech branches and also for non tech branches.Yes Thier are reservation benefits for Admission. they are benefited in fees as well as Percentile.

Our college addmission is through government cap round.. Our college ranks 7 th rank in Maharashtra for engineering so the cutoff of our college is 98+ percentile for computer science branch............

VIIT College honest review

Students in our college are dedicated to studying.
College provides good placement opportunities.

Location of college is not very good in terms of development.
College hostel is 3 km away from college.

The admission to this college can be done through Maharashtra government conducted CAP round counseling for which you either have to give CET or JEE Mains. Cet cutoff for computer engineering will be 97%ile and jee cutoff for computer Engineering will be 93%ile. The admission process is very lengthy and takes lots of documents to be submitted and there are huge gaps between each Rounds of counseling. You can also take admission through spot round conducted by the college and forms for which will be available on college website

The college provides good placement with highest package of 44 lpa and average package of 7.5 lpa.
Overall campus is good with peaceful environment.

The college has small campus because it is attached with other institutions of Vishwakarma group.
There is so much competition for jobs and internships.

The admission process at VIIT Pune is well structured and straight forward. Eligibility for the course requires a strong academic background in PCM along with competitive scores in entrance exams like JEE mains and MHt-CET. The admission takes place through CAP rounds. The reservation benefits for SC/ST, OBC and EWS categories are available with scholarships.

The inside reality of VIIT college of engineering pune

The teaching ecosystem is one of the most sorted and simplified one the marking system is more practical and market requirements oriented
Teachers are friendly and very much cooperative the clear doubts in a good way

Campus size is not upto the expectations ut is smaller then i have expected
The food and canteen is not providing good food the food is ok ok

The process of admission is one of the most easy and simple one I have to just visit the college once when i was confirmed that i was going to take admission in this college only The whole process of admission was done within 2-3 hours The admission committee of the college works in very effective way I have taken admission through Maharashtra State Common entrance test There are 3 CAP rounds in this examination and one mop-up round The difficultly level of examination is medium to hard level the paper are set by the teachers it self as this college is autonomous teachers try to keep paper hard so the students work on the subject in very serious and productive way They are already working in very effective way so i don't feel there are any area of improvement

The PBL or project based learning are just for the sake of name

The admission process is very smooth. We should have passed the HSC Board and the cutoff is compared on the basis of two entrance exams one is JEE Mains and other is MHTCET for engineering. My branch cutoff was 92 percentile for JEE mains.

Courses are very nice according to the curriculum
Environment and infrastructure is very good

When inside the college network is very slow
Near the college people use to smoke in college time

The process involves the following steps first entrance admission most engineering college in India request students to appear for National and state level JEE mains and GATE examination second application after the entrance examination students are announce to eligible candidate need to apply for v IIT through the official website search based on merit list the eligibility of student is allowed

Faculty is well educated and always helps to understand thing more clearly
College promote us create new ideas and also help us out in our idea to build that idea

If you are not regular to collage they judge you as dumb student
There is no proper playground on college and the playground which is used now is very small to play

There were no problems in admission process it goes very smoothly I have completed my addmisson within an hour try to go first to avoid the rush but if you want addmisson through (spot ) this process might be very time taking

An unbiased review of VIIT ~Raj Barshikar

There are so many clubs in the college. You can improve your social skills by interacting with new people and contributing in club activities. You won't get bored at college as something or the other is always happening in the clubs.
There are reading rooms present in the college. They technically not libraries but places to sit and study. You can sit there whole day within the college timings to study. It is very helpful for people who don't have study table at their hostel.

The area of college is not much developed. Its kind of down area. But for the opportunities this college provides its okay I guess.
Another drawback is that, there is not much encouragement in sports activities. In few semesters it is just for marks. There is one ground and some indoor games are present in the sports room. I really wish the college focuses on encouraging students

I got the admission through spot round. It is also known as institutional level round. For this you have to fill a form which is released on the college's website. There is a fee for this round. After filling the form, the college releases a list of all the registered members on their websites, rankwise accoriding to their JEE and MHT-CET scores. For my year the application fees were 2000 rupees. Eligibility of admission is 45% in Board exams and cutoff percentile in JEE/MHTCET You have to be present in the college on the spot round day. Then they call you rankwise into a decision making room where you are shown the leftover seats after CAP round. There you can choose if you want a seat or leave. The rule for spot round is that you have to pay fees for open category irrestpective of your caste. No extra fees are asked like management and all. The exam difficulty level is medium. If you start studying a day before you can crack the exam easily.
