High placement pkg in Mechanical department, More Employment Statistics, Faculty student ratio is quite good i.e 10:75 Qualification of Faculties is from big IITs and NITs Passing in Mid sem is not difficult but In End sem It requires more efforts
I chose Mechanical engineering in college. Because I had love and interest towards cars. I loved engines, their rev sound. The faculty here are highly qualified and possess immense knowledge. You just need to feed your curiosity by harnessing their knowledge. The average batch size in every department is 55:45.The faculty are MTech and Ph.D. holders from reputed institutions like IIT and NITs. The sem exams happen as they are scheduled and you will be notified atleast1 a month before that. There would be internals and lab viva voce, lab tests before semesters. Once these are done, semester exams take place
I've some interest in Mechanical Engineering so I choose this course. There're so many qualified teachers with great educational backgrounds. Teacher students ratio was nearly about 1:100. Some of the professors are highly educated by recognised organizations. The quality of the teaching method and process was quite up to the mark. In a semester (6 months) 2 internal exams and final exams were there. The difficulty level was near about 5/10.
The course is B.Tech ( Bachelor of Technology ).I was aiming for CSE ( Computer Science Engineering ) branch. But I got Mechanical Engineering according to my JEE rank. The faculty-student ratio is almost 15:1. Almost all the faculties are P.Hd holders or at least they have done master degree in their area of expertise. The teaching is average as we can expect from a government engineering college. The teachers are very punctual in taking classes and taking assignments. The term exams were on time, but due to the current pandemic, the 2nd semester onwards exams were delayed. Exams were quite easy to pass.
The college is fully funded by the govt. So fees is much low at only ä?_ 32000 per semester. There are regular scholarships offered by govt and non-government organisations by semester marks basis or other tests.
Highly qualified teachers are present, but the quality of teaching can be improved bit further. And the curriculum of the course is pretty good. They will ask you to refers the best book possible in the market for the course. Teachers are very helpful and friendly.
All the teachers in our college are Ph.D. holders from top institutes like IITs and NITs and are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends on each teacher. The course curriculum is relevant, and it has courses that make the students' industry-ready. The college has tie-ups with many governments and private industries which provide great internships.
If we take the Academic Excellence, Personality Development, Industry Interface, Faculties, Placement, and Selection Process, then CET has always proved to be the finest. First of all, my course of study was B. Tech in Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering which turned out to be very well as we had amazing faculties. They regularly helped us throughout our curriculum starting from Quizzes to the End semesters. We were blessed with a trip to NALCO power plant in Angul during our 6th semester. Our industrial experience was quite the same as other colleges as i can say. The only faculty that I am gonna miss is Dr. Kanhu Charan Bhuyan Sir. He is an ideal for me. I had learnt many lifetime lessons from him. I cannot forget the things he spoke during our classes that had an immensely deep impact on my daily life.
I am a mechanical engineer and I was always keenly interested in this. The faculty members in our department are good. They are all qualified with post-graduate degrees from reputed institutions like NITs and IITs and have ample teaching experience. Although the classes in our times were sometimes irregular, nowadays due to the college being autonomous, attendance has become strict.
good.
