Loganatha Narayanasamy Government College first started in Chengalpattu M.G.R District. The College was formed by two great industrialists Thiru.Loganthan Mudalliyarand and Thiru. T. S. Narayasamy jointly donated Rs five lakhs initially to start the college in the year of 1965. Along with them, the Government of TamilNadu stretched their helping hands by donating the buildings worth of Rs three lacks in the year of 1965.The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Due to this, the people dwelling in the North rural area from Chennai got the opportunity of getting further higher studies.The college also houses research programs leading to Ph.D. in the different departments.

I put application in online and they asked me to attend the counseling so i came here and attended. They alloted me seat even though I haven't had much marks . Its because my personal illness and also there is no entry level examination. It depends on 12 th mark

- The campus gives your fresh feel , students and teachers are super friendly and supportive.
- It has canteen inside the college so its like a good thing. Campus has lotta trees so studying plant biotechnology is quite interesting there
Admission:
There's no entrance exam,you can simply enroll using your 12th marks . Admission happens depending upon the marks you scored. Reservation is available . Admission is available in tngasa.com website and also in college directly . I am from Tirunelveli. I applied through online. And while the counseling they called me and told me i am eligible for the course so i joined. Counseling happens using the marks you obtained in your higher studies. Eg . 12 th board.
Maximum anyone can get seats here because they're giving opportunity to every students who wants to study. There's sports quota and ncc , nss and all . If you are a holder in any of that it will be much easier for you to get an admission but apart from that getting an admission is quite easy here comparing with other colleges. So yeah its just trying and waiting. Dont have to wait for long because they'll provide the details soon so its like a good thing in my opinion
