The course curriculum provided by the college is enough for students to excel in technical world. As the college is autonomous the subjects the college teach are very different and unique from the other colleges. The professor focus on the overall development of the students such as communication skills and aptitude building and various computer languages to get placed in the best company of the respective domains
I chose this course as I am very interested in this branch. I love to work in the industry other than doing the table job 10 to 7. I believe that this branch will provide me with some great knowledge than any other.
The syllabus is very much up to date, as it's based on industry feedback, due to our department's tie-ups with companies some subjects were taught by industry professionals from those companies, so there's a very wide industry exposure at VIT. All the faculty is great, and had completed their PhDs so there's no restriction or limits to learning here. Every student has a faculty gaurdian and is motivated to participate in various exams and conferences.
Their different fees structure for different category for Genral - 180900 per year OBC - 103725 SEBC - 103725 EWS - 103725 SC - 4000 ST - 4500 PWD - 25000 Gen( EBC) - 103725 This is fess structure of my college for different caste And hostel charges is different
Annual fees structure is 103292? per student. {Tution fee 76087? Development fee 22826? Exam fee 1360? Misc. univ fee 2519?} This fee structure is very expensive comparitive other colleges but i thing VIT is private and one of the best engineering colleges in India. then this fee structure is enough and they worth it.
My course is instrumentation and control engineering. In our college there is MCQs pattern, I think only our college had it. And remaining marks we get from lab work, group discussion, project, assignments, etc.
Fees are expensive. I am in 2 year, fees for Open(1, 54, 000/-) OBC(88, 350/-) Sc/St(14, 000/-) I belongs to caste OBC so my total fees are 88, 350/- Tuition fees =65968/- Development fees = 18064/- Exam fees =1260/- Eligibility fees= 500/- Mis. Univ fees = 2459/-
Fee structure of the vit is very expensive. for the open category student total fee is around 1.90 lakhs and for the obc student it is about 90k.It is only of the college fees if you want to take admission in college hostel then college hostel itself costs 1.50laks.so it's very expensive for studying in vit
Bit expensive as it is a private College but my time I got EBC scholarship (for all students whose parents income is less than 1lakh). At my time College fees is 1lakh and I used to get 45000 back in scholarship.

VIT is an autonomous institute affiliated with Pune University with an amazing placement scenario. Every student with a decent CGPA of around 7.5 is able to get amazing packages from good companies. In 2021, 50 out of 59 students got placed in Instrumentation Engineering with the placement percentage standing at 84.74%. Usually, the placement scenario can be divided into these
Students with backlogs or less CGPA might face issues during placements.
On average, out of the 80 students, only 65 students are eligible to sit for placements. Out of these, a few opt for higher studies so only around 50-55 are left for placements. The main core companies that visit VIT Pune are Emerson, Honeywell, and Tetra Pak. The number of recruitments can be understood through the points below
These companies offer an average package of around 5.5 LPA. So around 20–25 students will be placed in core companies and other students have to opt for IT companies.
To get good offers, you need a CPI above 8.5 at the end of the third year and also try to get an internship at Emerson.
