Ujjain Engineering College is a public college that promotes technical education in the state with three core branches of engineering Civil, Mechanical, & Electrical. The institute further launched new branches of engineering like Electronics and Civil in 1985 and 1986. Computer Science Engineering was also introduced in the session 2001-2002. It received recognition from the AICTE and received a declaration as an autonomous engineering college by the State Government. Entrance is through JEE mains for UG and through GATE for PG. Application fees is one time paid on the DTE MP counseling portal in the common counseling process. Frequency is once a year. Reservation benefits are available for SC/ST/ OBCs.

In the admission process the student should be cleared on the basis of categories wised cut off. Then the person should be an Indian citizen. counseling is done online form after that we had a chance to get into college. Jee should be compulsory.

- There's no big issue of attendance in this college as compared to the other private colleges and if you're preparing for some competitive exams
- Professor are also supportive they don't unnecessarily increase your work.

- Not a good college if you're relying totally on college for placements like around 5 to 8 companies visit and the median package was around 5LPA

The admission process in the whole counselling procedure is managed by the mpdte counselling the procedure is quite simple and all the instructions are provided on the side itself talking about the cutoffs the cut off for admission in this college is quite low for general it around 1 lakh rank in JEE, for reservation categories if you are even just qualified jee like your rank is around 1.5 lakh then you can easily get admission, if you don't get this college in the first round of mpdte counselling you should go for second and third round as well because mostly people get the best college according to their rank and percentile is in the last rounds and you should always go to the last round if you don't get your desired college.

I am student of UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE Ujjain mechanical branch 5th sem. In 2021 I am eligible for btech mechanical through jee mains. After counseling I aloted ujjain engineering college and through mail I received details of application form, application dates etc.

- The fees structure is fair. There is no rush to get 75 Percent atThe papper pattern easy and the sectional marking is good .
- The Atmosphere is decent and relax . Negligible strictness. No dress code and no complexity of completing homework and daily assignments .
Dislikes
- No exposure . Their is barely any activity happen in the college . The clubs, groups and events does not happen as expected to be happen in college. Participation is also low and involvement is minimum .
- The transaction which is done from the website take one day to complete. Sometimes the student who don't know about this sometimes do it 3 4 times unknowingly. It also takes netbanking of Indian overseas Bank only . A person has to open a count in it
Admission:
Firstly you have to appear for JEE mains exam which happens every year and is conducted by National Testing Agency . It is a computer based exam taken all over the country . Eligibility for this is 12th pass or appearing. The application form can be taken from computer and the for exam it can be applied only . For different caste different fees are there . For general it is about 650 each attempt . Their is reservation benefits in cut offs . General cut off is usually high about 89 to 92 percentile while other caste have low cut offs . I don't want any improvement in admission process as they give proper opportunities for every attempt .

I underwent the admission process by taking the Jee entrance exam. Following this, I completed the application process during the 2nd round of counselling. For admission to the cse program, the cutoff was set at 80 percentile and above in the JEE Main exams. Despite my percetile falling slightly below, at 70 percentile, I secured admission into the mechanical Engineering program. The journey commenced with the rigrous JEE entrance exam, where my performance determined eligibility for various engineering disciplines. Subsequently, during the second round of counselling, I completed the application process, selecting my prefered courses based on the cutoffs specified bt the institution. Notablt, the cutoffs for cse was set higher at 80 percentile, reflecting the program's competitiveness. However, I successfulyy secured admission into Mechanical Engineering with the cutoff requirement of 70 percentile. Ultimately my choice of mech. eng. alighned with my academic acheivements.

Its simple procedure not tough i get admission through CLC (college level counciling) round.In CLC round colleges offer left sheat after result of last M.P counciling round . For CLC round direct apply in m.p online. Counciling letter has date than you visit college on CLC round date. And than just wait for your turn in CLC round. I am mechanical branch student for me the rank required is (173677) . IN 2022 the rank approx 176211. And if you have caste certificate you get seat reservation (st,sc,obc) . I experienced the clc round take too much time so they contact students
