Bcom(Hons) was one of the most famous courses of du. I really like this course, since I was from a commerce background. As per my eligibility criteria and 12th marks, I was eligible for the BCom Hons course. The faculty is really good. No matter if it is a government college but still, the faculty is perfectly maintained. The faculty-student ratio can be around 30 teachers for a course of around 200 students. The faculty are Ph.D. scholars, so no doubt about their knowledge. The teaching method is good. They teach with full dedication. The term exams were after 4 months in every semester. The difficulty level to pass is not that much. If regular classes are taken, then students can easily pass.
the curriculum of the course is very knowledgeable. students are able to learn various subjects and get practically trained in topics like filing income tax returns, using tally software, etc. the course covers all important subjects such as corporate law, financial accounting, corporate accounting, income tax, management, human resource management, etc. the faculty is quite good. they teach with full dedication.
Semester 5th students are eligible for campus placements. Plenty of companies visited including Willis Towers Watson, Big 4's EY, Tres Vista, DE Shaw, Accenture, BCG, and many more. The highest and Average Packages offered to my course were 8LPA and 3.6 LPA respectively. Almost 40% of students got placed easily just based on academics, co-curricular and technical skills they learned in College. I working in the corporate world from that time till now in a very good position.
All the students in the last year will eligible for campus placements. There are lot of companies visited the campus and very good number of jobs are offered. Probably 60% students got placed in the campus with good packages.
(i) The students become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester or final year however internships are also offered during 2nd year but only a few can crack them (ii) WTW, travclan, oxane, RSA and many more. no of offers made last year 65+ and companies visited were 21. (iii) highest package was 19.25 LPA and average package was 6.20 LPA. (iv) My plan after getting the degree is to get a job and build my corporate career
From Semester 5 students are eligible to sit for the placement process. There is a wide range of companies arriving for placement opportunities and the average package stands at 6-8 lacs per annum. My plans after getting the degree are to work at the company I've been offered a job for a few years and then pursue MBA.
The placement cell of the college doesn't provide that much placement. There are only 5 to 6 companies visiting for recruitment. It's up to you to grab that opportunity. There are many students who got the placement from college and the highest package was 4.5 lakh per annum in BCom Honours course. Also, you will be eligible for the placement in the third year. But there will be internship opportunities in the second year and first year which you will be get informed by the college. And also it's not compulsory that you will get the job only from the college itself, after completing the degree you can go to different companies and give interviews based on your skills and interest.
First-year students are eligible for internships and second and third year students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, EY, Zomato, Travclan, ICICI and other reputed companies visits. highest package is 15 lac pa. And average package is 4-5 lac pa.
