Remarks :

The admission process was pretty simple and lucid. The last cut off list was at 95%. There were no entrance exams at my admission period, it was done through the board exam results. The application form is available on the Delhi University website. Even the submission of marksheet and form at the college was a very convenient ad there were seniors to guide you accordingly throughout the process. Overall I hardly think there's any suggestions for improvement from my side. It was an easy and good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Bcom(Hons) as I wanted to pursue the business field and in our college, BCom Hons has the highest number of students when compared to other courses. The faculty is very experienced and always help create a student friendly environment. The methodology of their teaching is very convenient and easy to grasp. Exams are conducted semester wise along with class assignments and class tests. If studied properly the exams are not difficult to clear.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship experience has also been very great for me. Considering the lockdown and pandemic situation, the placement cell has played a great role in tapping companies and making opportunities available for students both for work from home and office situations. There is the availability of both paid and unpaid internships.

Placement Experience :

From Semester 5 students are eligible to sit for the placement process. There is a wide range of companies arriving for placement opportunities and the average package stands at 6-8 lacs per annum. My plans after getting the degree are to work at the company I've been offered a job for a few years and then pursue MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees of my college are around 10k. There has been no hike in the college fees during my 3 year period, it was the same every year. Regarding the scholarship, there are some facilities available that can be checked on the college website. The placements are also quite decent. Currently, I'm placed at a company in Bangalore with 7lac per annum pay.

Campus Life :

The campus life is really very enjoyable and enriching. There are many societies in our college be it dance or theatre or singing or chess or many others. There are proper sports training provided to students along with a basic dietary provided to the team players. There is also a gym available in the college. The library is quite big and has a lot of books with different genres. The classrooms are also well suited to study. I personally am part of 3 societies in my college- The Commerce society, The Fashion Society and Enactus.

Placement Experience:

College's placement network is exceptional. Companies such as Nation with NAMO, DE Shaw, McKinsey&Company, Big 4s, Accenture, TresVista, Kotak Mahindra, Alvarez and Marsal, Indian Express, Magicpin, Zomato, etc. were some of the major recruiters out of 103+ companies for the academic session 2023-24. The highest package went to Rs. 23.05 LPA by DE Shaw with a median package of 6 LPA. There were a total of 175+ offers made for the session. Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. The students are eligible to do internships from the first year itself. But campus placement happens in the third year only. There is a placement cell in the college which is really active. The companies that visit the college are- EY, KPMG, Flipkart, Amazon, Deloitte etc. Above 200+ offers are made . The highest package is 21 LPA and the average packafe is 6-10 LPA. 70-80% students get placed. My plan is to either get a job or do MBA.

To be very honest lower your expectations from bcom program, yeah honours is good but bcom(p) is not it. You can choose better than this and invest in a better place.
