Keshav Mahavidyalaya Admission 2024 has started. The admission process is carried out for all UG courses through the centralized Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS). The college accepts CUET scores as the basis of admission at UG level. The entrance exams are administered by NTA. CUET UG is generally conducted in March by NTA, every year. The Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission cutoff 2024 is expected to be 762 for BA (Hons) Psychology, 762 for B.Com (Hons), 614 for BMS and 716 – 747 for B.Sc (Hons) courses in the general category.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya UG Admission 2024

Keshav Mahavidyalaya offers various UG courses to interested candidates in the stream of arts, science as well as commerce. Some of the popular courses available at the college are B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) Psychology, B.Sc (Prog) Mathematical Science, B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science, B.Sc (Hons) Electronics and B,Sc (Hons) Physics. Keshav Mahavidyalaya Admission Process 2024

Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination

Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission to all UG courses is based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

  • Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.

To successfully submit the CUET application, candidates require various documents such as -

  • A scanned copy of the recent passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of your signature (black ink)
  • Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
  • Marksheets of all qualifying exams
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Banking details for application fee payment

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Candidates who filled out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule. The timeline of when entrance exams are usually conducted in a year is given below:

Step 3: DU CSAS Registration and [Course + College] Preferences

Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the Keshav Mahavidyalaya seat allotment. Once registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences. Registration portals for admission to various courses along with the registration fee of Delhi University are as follows:

  • Candidates who want to apply for the Sports Supernumerary or ECA quota must pay an additional application fee of INR 100.

There are various documents that candidates should submit during the DU CSAS registration process such as -

  • Photo (jpeg/jpg format)
  • Scanned Signature (jpeg/jpg format)
  • Marksheet of all qualifying exams
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Affidavit for Single Girl Child (if applicable)
  • Certificate from Orphanage/ Death Certificate of parents (if applicable)
  • Kashmiri Migrant (if applicable)
  • PwBD/CW Category (if applicable)
  • Ward Quota (if applicable)
  • A total of 5 certificates from the past 3 years, if applying through ECA category
  • A total of 3 certificates from the past 3 years, if applying through the Sports Supernumerary category

Step 4: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission criteria such as:

  • Combination of selected college and course
  • Rank secured in the entrance exam
  • Availability of seats
  • Category of candidates

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered. Once a seat has been allocated to Keshav Mahavidyalaya in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period. 

  • Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. 
  • Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates will have to pay the Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission fee to confirm their seat.

Ques. Does one need to apply separately for BMS admissions at Keshav Mahavidyalaya?

Ans. No, one needs to apply on DU website for admissions to the particular academic year. Candidates need to register themselves once for any of the UG level courses. There are, however, separate fees for the entrance test along with application fee.

Ques. When will the application forms be available for admissions at Keshav Mahavidyalaya’s website?

Ans. Eligible students need to apply via online mode for seeking admissions to UG and diploma. Online applications will be made available on the official website of DU. Before that, notification will be released on the website.

Ques. Will I be eligible to apply for BMS if I have not studied Mathematics in 12th?

Ans. No, it has been made compulsory by DU that in order to take admission to BMS, Mathematics is a mandatory criterion. A candidate must acquire the minimum percentage required in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.

Ques. Can I get direct admission to Keshav Mahavidyalaya?

Ans. No. The admission to the courses at the college is offered on the basis of performance in the entrance exams such as CUET UG and CUET PG. CUET UG is accepted for admission to all available UG courses.

The eligibility at that time was merit list so if your nqme came in that you could have applied for the course but its changed now due to CUET. There were some reservations at lower cutoffs. The admission process has been chaned to entrance exams now making it more difficult to get in.

The course was for the school passed out (12th pass) students, anyone could apply. The process was easy and simple. We went to the college and filled the form and the admission process was done in one go without visiting the college again for the same. It was a bit difficult course and examination was held yearly.

The entrance for the college was through common üniversite entrance exam or cuet with the course specific cut off at an average of 725. Cuet access form is over the internet no physical form submission is necessary with around 1-2 thousand application fee the exam is held once a year around august and form is released around February. College provides reservation to people of alot of classes like sc st obc evs and sports. This also can be reduced to improve equal opportunity

The admission process was through CUET. Both science and commerce students can do this course, it just requires a combination of maths, language and 2 other subjects. A score of 500 is a must out of 800 to secure a seat in this course for the general category.

I has given cuet(central university entrance exam)which is a central level exam to take admission in cental university.we have to gave this exam after 12th board,so basically all this process is online,firstly we fill the exam form on samarh.com then after gave exam and after that if you passed the cutoff then you directly take admission in central university.

The subjects you choose should be based on which course you want to apply for through cuet.
