Remarks :

(i) The course eligibility depends upon class 12th marks but now however a certain weightage will be given to entrance exam too. (ii) You have to apply at du website and then you will be eligible for all the college and courses that you select, only condition being you satisfy the criteria for admission. (iii) Overall admission process is smooth and I don't think that it needs any improvement. However if verification of documents can be done online that would be better for students

Course Curriculum Overview :

(i) I choose b.com(hons) as I wanted to pursue CA and their syllabus are similar to some extent (ii) There is a 1:15, faculty to student ratio although I am not sure but it's around it. (iii) Faculty is qualified almost all teachers hold PHD in their subject and their teaching method I would say is average not quite suberb but they will be able to solve your doubts clearly. (iv) Every 6 months there are exams and it's not difficult to pass it, you can do ten year from shivdas and you are good to go and can score easily 7 CGPA

Placement Experience :

(i) The students become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester or final year however internships are also offered during 2nd year but only a few can crack them (ii) WTW, travclan, oxane, RSA and many more. no of offers made last year 65+ and companies visited were 21. (iii) highest package was 19.25 LPA and average package was 6.20 LPA. (iv) My plan after getting the degree is to get a job and build my corporate career

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

(i) course is affordable, ?10000 is the course fee every year (ii) I have applied for NSP scholarship, which helped me to get ?10000 as scholarship every year, However you need to have income certificate with income less than 2,50,000 (preferably) to apply for scholarship.

Campus Life :

(i) Fest are conducted by each course department and by college annually (ii) Latest books are available in library but they are limited however you can find many old edition books (iii) Classroom has desk, board, fans but no A/C and smart board. (iv) There are various sports team also they are given refreshments in the morning. (v) There are many societies in the college such as shades (drama society), naksh (fashion society), anhad (singing society), illuminati (photography society) and many more.

Placement Experience:

College's placement network is exceptional. Companies such as Nation with NAMO, DE Shaw, McKinsey&Company, Big 4s, Accenture, TresVista, Kotak Mahindra, Alvarez and Marsal, Indian Express, Magicpin, Zomato, etc. were some of the major recruiters out of 103+ companies for the academic session 2023-24. The highest package went to Rs. 23.05 LPA by DE Shaw with a median package of 6 LPA. There were a total of 175+ offers made for the session. Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. The students are eligible to do internships from the first year itself. But campus placement happens in the third year only. There is a placement cell in the college which is really active. The companies that visit the college are- EY, KPMG, Flipkart, Amazon, Deloitte etc. Above 200+ offers are made . The highest package is 21 LPA and the average packafe is 6-10 LPA. 70-80% students get placed. My plan is to either get a job or do MBA.

To be very honest lower your expectations from bcom program, yeah honours is good but bcom(p) is not it. You can choose better than this and invest in a better place.
