Yes, your college provide schorlarship for low caste as well as for those who are economically backward . They provide all the facilities they can from the college for studies . Scholarship are available for the students and they can apply it from college.
For encouraging students belonging to socially and economically deprived communities to develop their career in public health, a McKinsey & Company Scholarship Fund naming ‘ SASHAKTIKARAN (empowerment) scholarships has been set up for the academic year under the aegis of Public Health Foundation of India.
Sashaktikaran scholarships’ have been set up by McKinsey & Company for the eligible candidates selected for MPH programmes being offered across Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) at Gandhinagar, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad. College also has other scholarship programs available for different people coming from different sections of the society.
I got scholarship under this scheme. The college has been supported by the Infosys Foundation announces the institution of INFOSYS Fellowships in Public Health for Indian Students pursuing Masters in Public Health (MPH) at the Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs), institutions of higher learning established by PHFI. The objective of the fellowships is to identify and train 25 MPH graduates to meaningfully engage with grass-roots NGOs, to strengthen and bring value to NGO activities and contribute towards community development.
The college has a special scholarship programme. The Dr P G Tulpule Scholarship Fund seeks to encourage students to choose, pursue and advance career and work in public health, with specific focus on public health nutrition and allied areas. The full/part scholarship fund will be available to students enrolling for PGDPHM courses at PHFI. Training in Public Health Nutrition is a priority area for India.

Scholarships are not yet started as the college is not earning much. Loans can be availed fromoutside but college does not rovide any kind of assistance for that.
I enrolled for the scholarship test and did my best but I could not reach upto the level of the cutoff for the scholarship so I did not get it. The amount that is waived off is the registration amount only i.e around 10,000 is given as scholarship.
