- The curriculum and elective subjects are so relevant
- The departments spotlights softskills sessions ,Industry institute interface,Student social responsibility, Value added courses,outbound training ,students forum,Hr bootcamp ,research Industrial connect ,connecting with professional forums
Campus Life:
We have dejavu pur college cultural event along with other culturals and sports.We have student development council which also conducts inter college fests.There are pretty much number of social clubs and other forums which gives the students to flourish their growth
Likes
- Quality of education was stellar compared to other colleges.
- On campus therapist and counsellor. Very useful and it's pro bono as well.
Dislikes
- Opportunities are hard to find because they are not openly presented. You will have to dig for them and make alot of connections to acquire them.
- Campus size is quite small. It's very minute. While it can appear cozy, you get sick of it pretty soon.
Campus Life:
They have two major fests, Deja Vu (culturals) and Sports day. Depending on the elected student body, we also celebrate Pongal, Diwali, Christmas, Onam, etc. Library has a very good collection despite its size. And the wifi is of good quality. In the psych dept. Only two out of three classroom had a projector. The tables and chairs can feel weird at first. There's decent ventilation. Sports and extracurricular activites are seen as leisure activites so there's not much infrastructure for that however students are open to participate in events and do their best. The main student run organizations are the SDC (Student body) and the Rotract club. Both are very active and depending on the team, they do a decent job.
Likes
- Psychology dept at MSSW is very open-minded and a well knit group of people, including all the three year students.
- The course covers different aspects of psychology which are important for selection of specialisation at the pg level.
Dislikes
- Administration is generally lagging, information regarding cancellation of classes/holiday is very end minute.
- A few faculty members don't take classes regularly
Campus Life:
Campus life is pretty chill, we have sports and annual concert(Deja Vu) every year! Very often, fairs and stalls are set up on campus by other departments as part of their projects/activities. Recently, a student run group called psychport has also been established in our department.
Likes
- Overall course, faculties and facilities.
- Very pleasant ambience and college atmosphere.
Dislikes
- Library can be expanded with more books.
- Canteen can be expanded and more items can be added.
Campus Life:
There is SDC which is the Student Development Council that organizes and celebrates all festivals, sports days, college culture, etc. The individual departments also have their own functions and events. There is a mid-sized library with all the necessary books in the college.
Campus Life:
The library was decent. A lot of educational material. Not a lot of novels. Sports and College Cultural-DejaVu happens. There are clubs including eco-club, theater club, etc. We also have a lot of social awareness programs happening regularly.
Campus Life:
The college conducts various events like Dejavu, Intercollege fest and department programs. Every month the college will be conducting some events as it is a renowned institution for social work. The college has around 15000 books for all the departments and it is well maintained. The students can also borrow and make use of books and journals. There are lab sessions, computer labs, personal care rooms, and many more amenities for the welfare of the students. The college also conducts Sports day for two days. Both indoor and outdoor games are conducted. Students can excel in the sports field as well as extracurricular activities. There are different clubs like Sports club, Rotary club, Nss, Eco club and narcotics club. It is narcotics friendly and ragging free campus.
Campus Life:
Talk about activities they are very very nice in this college and and the student parties are there there are social life that is so good and the infrastructure of the college is very nice that there are less gender ratio where are workshops and societies
Campus Life:
There are so many things which we have to consider that is placement faculties course structure but all are the main function of the college so many secondary functions of the college live sports labs cultural fests cultural society party workshops in all and that is also good in this college
Campus Life:
The college believes in overall development of the students and thereby organizes many extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities like indoor and outdoor games, track events, annual functions, college week, social activities etc. All students are very much interested in participating all the activities.
Campus Life:
Besides academics, our college gives very much importance in its extra curricular activities. The college organizes many activities like games, debates, drama, quiz, extempore speech, folk dance etc. These activities are very good to develop our personalities and skills.
