The curriculum is well designed and is updated based on the current scenario and every year the curriculum is being revised to keep it updated according to the demand. The curriculum is designed so well that we are able to learn through real life problems, case studies from real life are included which helps us to improve our problem solving skills. The teaching method is good and i think there is no need of improvement. In every 3 month 2 times exams are held.
I opted for the post-grade course because it is relative to my previous course which is BBA here student ratio is 50:50 and the faculty members are great and supportive to me always m very happy to be a part of jims
The curriculum is good for international business. We do have great faculty members to name a few Dr Neelam, Dr Sanjeela and Dr Shruti are a few of the most helpful faculties of our college. curriculum is well designed to meet corporate requirements.
The faculty of jims kalkaji is very good. They are highly knowledgeable and well-qualified. Most of them have written well-published research papers. Their teaching method is also very good and simple. They groom students according to the changing scenario of the corporate and industries. Exams are held trimester-wise. Every trimester involves mid-term and end-term exams.
As I did my graduated with BBA from JIMS VASANTKUNJ so PGDM is somewhat similar for me plus after doing this course it will help me in my business also because I want to expand my family's business to the international market.
To be honest the course curriculum is ok just like any either college. Very little emphasis on practical learning out of 1000, 80 marks are directly your written theory paper. The student-faculty ratio is good. There are quite a few great faculty at Jim's. The exam is not very easy and not very difficult to clear.
I choose PGDM IB as my course because it's only available in a few institutions and foreign exposure is provided as well. There are students for PGDM general as well. It provides dual specialization in finance and marketing. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders. Every month test is conducted so that all the syllabus is learned by the students.
To be honest the course curriculum is okay just like any either college. Very less emphasis on practical learning out of 100, 80 marks are directly your written theory paper. The student-faculty ratio is fine. But please be ready to face the toxic political environment. There are quite a few great faculty at JIMS like Dr.Neelam, Dr. Sanjeela, Dr. Shruti, and Dr. Navneet. You will gain maximum real-life and practical knowledge.
PGDM -IB in Jim's kalkaji provides students with international exposure. Faculties have all the required knowledge in their respective fields and they try their best to motivate students. Faculty members help students to improve their communication skills from the 1st day of your college so that student can give their best at the time of placements.
I chose the PGDM-IB program, to get exposure to international markets and daily happenings. The IB course offers you triple specialization in marketing, finance, and international business. Each trimester consists of 8 subjects with 8 faculties for one subject. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. qualified while others are professional degree qualified. As far as exams are concerned we have a trimester system followed by a mid-term examination and then finally end term, which is more or less easy to clear.
