The course is PGDM which is an advanced form of MBA making it fast-paced and relevant to todays time. The course has lot of features regarding giving the right practical exposure to students. The student get numerous opportunites for professional and personal development through presentation, public speaking, live projects, internships and various competitions. Students learns the importance of time and deadlines. There is a lot of assignments and case related assignment to be completed which actually improves understanding concepts. The frequency of exam is 3 times per year which is a trimester based system and every trimester completes in just 3-4 months and the questions papers are majorly cased based helping students to use practical and case based examples. I chose Jims Rohini. There were about 40 students in my class, as I recall. And our college faculty is among the best. The faculty's method of teaching was excellent, and they were always able to clear up any confusion .and the staff and management were extremely helpful all of the faculty members were well educated, and the majority of them had decolorates and years of experience in their respective fields.
I chose PGDM course to get real experience of the business world. In this PGDM general course, They have taken us to seminars, taken presentations, and given us case studies to give the real picture of the corporate world.Exams are after every two months. The faculty is well qualified and explain the concepts very nicely
Course curriculum in this college is on the basis of tri semester i.e three semesters in a year and the faculty members are very educated and they are very respectful in addressing the students and they treat each and everyone like a family here.
I am currently pursuing PGDM from JIMS Rohini Sec-5. The faculty is very good and knowledgeable they explain the things in a very good manner as there is always fear in the mind of science students that they will face difficulty and all regarding courses but there is no such difficulties for science students as well as commerce background students faculties are very cooperative here. Teachers teach here through their own materials and books and provide good notes and presentation for the subjects. We have to study for the exams through the material as marking the exam is a little bit hard here.
when I was pursuing BBA I wish to learn more about business, Here the faculty is very much knowledgeable and cooperative, In my class, there are around 54-56 students. all teaching faculties are ph.d. Exams are conducted In every 3 months as the Trimester system is there in our college and in every trimester we have to clear 7-8 subjects including a viva. The exam is bit difficult to pass as we did not get enough time to study properly because our college timing is 9:30 to 5 O clock and during exams, 6-7 days of leave is provided to us to prepare for the exams so we get 1 day to prepare for 1 exam. If you listen carefully in class and make notes on regular basis you won't face any difficulty in clearing the exam
MBA is useful for the overall development and for better opportunities to cater to the experiences. The student ratio is apt and faculties are quite interactive and helpful, They have trimester systems, and the process is quite smooth, the exams arent that difficult but they provide quite real-life scenarios.
As I completed my BCom, so I want to do MBA in finance before joining corporates. That's why I joined, as I thought there will be corporate exposure and good placement. Whereas it was all fake promises at the end
The faculties are all very supportive and available all the time to help a student. The course curriculum is designed in such a way to match the expectations of the corporate world and the faculties make it easy for students to learn and gain knowledge out of that. The MOOCs credit with the course is one of the advantages a JIMS student can have wherein with theory a practical exposure is given to students.
I got the opportunity to study PGDM in JIMS. The first year I got the opportunity to explore all the specializations, and in the second year. I chose Marketing as majors & finance as minors. when enrolled, I was confused about specialization. First-year gave me the opportunity to study all the specializations and get the clarity where I can do best & hence I chose marketing as specialization.
JIMS Rohini isn’t a good option for management studies. There are many other better management institutes in the Delhi NCR region such as IMI Delhi, BIMTECH, and Jaipuria Institute of Management.
JIMS has a good infrastructure. Due to the locational advantages, you will also get good exposure to industries in Delhi NCR. According to JIMS Rohini placements 2022, the average CTC offered to the students is around INR 7.5 LPA.
