The institute follows a policy of one placement opportunity per student. The companies that offer internship are Dabur, Reliance Retail, CRISIL, Arcesium, Jio Creative Labs, Silicon Labs, Morgan Stanley, Hackett Group, Nippon India, Fujitsu, Policy Bazaar etc. The average stipend ranged from 10k to 15k. The roles were in Finance, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing.
Companies such as Hdfc ICICI and startups came to college for a summer internship. I got an internship with Aim India put. ltd for two months in Delhi. Most companies provided internships of around 10000 per month or a whole period.
Internships opportunities are good for marketing students they get placed easily but it is very difficult for the finance students to get their SIP's sorted. They all have to struggle a lot for getting their internships sorted.
I was placed in a good company via the placement committee of my college. They make sure that the students get to work in the sector of their preference where they can get industry exposure and gather learnings for the final placement process and corporate life ahead.
The college provides ample opportunities for students to sc=ecure a summer internship. There are several companies' visits to campus for the internship also providing a stipend to the students as per the role given to them in their companies. Also, the projects are given to the students based on their departments and their area of interest.
Students are eligible for placements from the 4th semester and many big companies visit campus for placements. No. of companies visit campus for placement are more than 100. Around 85% of students get placed by December.
Yes, the college provides internships to all the students. All the students get placed in good companies for internships. Internships provided are either of stipend or of no stipend. Many students also find internships from outside.
Yes, the college did provide student internships even during the pandemic. But some students were affected when companies rescinded the offers still the campus helped them get internships wherever possible and if not they were assigned a major project under few faculties who work in collaboration with corporates.
IMT Nagpur provides 100% placement in Internships. Big companies like Crysil, Dalmia Group, etc along with startups visit campus Internship offers. They can be paid with stipends or unpaid. They can last up to 3 months.
Good placement opportunity, Student-driven place com, Above 90 percentage get placed about an average of 7 to 8 lakh per annum. The highest-paid is around thirteen lakhs, More than 100 companies visit each year.
Honestly speaking all the B Schools you mentioned are just glamorous brand names with no real value. The placement scenario is very pathetic here as the companies that visit are looking for students who can work at fewer salaries. Only the extremely meritorious students get good packages and that too is rare.
So I will suggest that if you have scored 95+ in CAT, then you are capable of more. So work hard and target a better B School next year. Remove these colleges from your list of options and attempt CAT again.
If you are not very sure about attempting CAT again then prepare yourself for a package as low as 5-6 LPA.
Many coaching institutes publish many different rankings of B schools across the country every year based on several different parameters. Which in most situations aren’t reliable and trustworthy. But the Times ranking or Career Launcher ranking is more realistic and based on practical parameters. According to these rankings, the preference order of the institutes is as follows.
