I chose this course to have a stepping stone in the corporate world. This course takes you through the fundamentals of management and prepares one from the scratch. Prior knowledge or diverse background just acts as a cherry on the cake enriching one's learning experience. Right from Marketing Management 1 to Accountancy and Legal Aspects it is a cohesive curriculum making everyone's base strong. There is a frequently used method of case study that helps one understand what made businesses big, and how established giants saw the ruin in the light of the day. The areas of improvement can of course be diving deep into the examples from current affairs and understanding any implications. It helps to ensure one is also trained to think more. The exams usually took a week to 10 days. Some papers had study leaves and some were scheduled in the same day as other course. This would depend on one's electives choice. Difficulty level was always moderate to high but nothing one is not prepared for

Courses and specialization as per the AICTE Curriculum. Mostly Case based and Practical Assignments. Evaluation is continuously there, Mid Term, Group Assignment and Group Presentation, end term exams are easier if you study.
I chose MBA in marketing because it helps you deal with real-life business scenarios and excels you in managing an organization. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. All faculty members were either experienced or pursuing a doctorate in specific fields. Teaching was both practical and classroom classes. There were 3 term exams each year and it was not very easy to pass.
The curriculum is almost similar to that of IIM's. Likewise, IIM's Tri semester system is followed in IMT which makes the student engaged all over the year. The faculty members are also experienced with a lot of experience behind them. Yes IMT Nagpur is not a big name right now but with the efforts of the faculties and the activities that happen on the campus in the upcoming years, it will be known all over the country.
Even though our batch started the classes in an online mode, I have always found the faculties to be supportive. We are provided with adequate reading material via mails and later even books were mailed to us at our homes. They make sure that classes are not too crowded so that faculties can do an individual evaluation of everyone.
IMT is considered as one of the best colleges for the marketing area, with great teaching faculty and a friendly environment. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30 in our college. The faculties are highly knowledgeable and approachable. The college has a very strict academic calendar with midterms and ends terms examinations conducted as scheduled.
Marketing Course is good here and faculties are great in teaching. The teaching method is called a flipped classroom program inspired by Harvard. Exams are divided into 6 terms for 2 years i.e. tri semester exams.
The PGDM core course allows me to choose my preference among Marketing, finance, operations, HR and IT at end of the 1st year. Students are around 350 and a decent amount of faculties are there for those students. The teaching method is based on a flip classroom program.
Very good course curriculum same as IIMs and faculty members is very experienced and knowledgeable. They come from a set of diverse backgrounds with both industry professionals as well as teaching also.
I got selected for the Core PGDM course because I was not sure about was to choose between Finance and Marketing. So till the end of 1sy year, you can decide what do you want to choose. Faculties are well experienced and the whole program is divided into 6 semesters.
