majorly event of dr bmn college is 'AKANSHA' event . the enitre college particpates to make it an sucessful event . all the depatments coming together for particiaption including teaching and non teaching stafffs . sports committe includes badmintion , chess , karathe etc .

The College provides you with various opportunities to grow and develop your skills. There are various clubs such as the English reading club etc. The college has one of the best Libraries with a wide range of books available. A lot of extra curricular activities have been organised by the college. In a Nutshell the college provides 1001 opportunities to enhance our skills, it's us who needs to identify the best for our own self.

There are mainly two intercollegiate fests in college that are enjoyed the most. First is AANKASHA i.e. the annual fest organized by the whole college. It's fun and lively and the second one is TEKZONE. It is the grand fest i.e. organized by the BCA students only. There are tons of actives involved and these 2 fests of the year are the best and I mean it. You meet lots of people and the fun part is you enjoy yourself a lot. I've experienced both on-campus and online feasts. Both of them were arranged fabulously. But to be honest, the fun that we had on-campus was amazing. There are various clubs available in the college like Theater, Maths, Gandhian and much more. There were times when we had to explore some topics, it was great that we had a library on our campus that helped us with the submissions.

We have an intercollegiate fest called 'Akansha' where each student of the institute participates and organize events with the help of teachers. Students from various colleges can come and take part in these events. Also, we have 'Tekzone' the intercollegiate event for BCA students where many technicals events are organized. Each year we have our Annual day where we have many events like Personality competition, dancing, singing, theatre acts and also facilitation of students. A whole floor is allotted for the library which consists of many books. Students are given library cards through which they can take books for study and research. They can also purchase books at a low cost from the library. We have a sports day each year where various physical sports events are organized. Teachers and students part take in these events, The events are for two-three days. We have a WhatsApp group for each class where teachers share important news and notes.

There are many extracurricular activities provided by the college. The management provides these activities for students to get some time of relief apart from their regular studies. As in terms of sports, grounds are situated for students to play games like football basketball and many more. An intercollegiate fest named as “Akanksha 2019” was also conducted under the theme to save water for life.

Department has been conducting University Campus sports activities, Inter Collegiate tournaments and Inter University Sports competitions every year.Annual sports day is also conducted every year in the college campus. The team of National Service Scheme is one remarkable feature of the college.

No, college does not have hostel facility but as I do not belong to Mumbai I am staying in the PG. The average rent which I am paying every year is 6000 per month excluding food and electricity bill living cost in Mumbai is quite expensive.

No hostels canteen was ok not that great but now it has improved a lot. There are variety in the menu outside college there are food stalls.
