Likes

The first thing i liked about the college is the fee affordability for an well known institution.
The second thing is about the infrastructure of the college it is good neat and clean.
The last thing is the food that tastes better than average .it really is good.

Dislikes

The first thing i really disliked about is the rules they implemented on the campus.
The second thing is that you have be clean shave all time at all ocassions.
About the maintainability of the mess that look like an old barracks .

Admission:

The number of colleges i applied are not that many but i still applied for few ones .like i applied for REC,SSN,VIT,CEG.the reason i chose this one affordability amongst all. No i didn't get an rejection from other college .i didnt join them with my own decision. You can join this college by management or govt counselling .the minimum cutoff u should have to expect an seat is 140+ .

A honest and recent review

Likes

The supportive entrepreneurship eco system. They will support you if you are interested in starting a company.
The environment will be cool and you can see so much of green scenarios everywhere like living in an forest.
The experience of the staffs is so good. Most of the faculties here are phD holders.

Dislikes

They wob't allow boys and girls to interact which is a very backward thinking.
Too many strict rules are followed if you are in college hostel. Otherwise you'll be free.
You'll get less number of leave days than your friends in other colleges.

Admission:

I applied to Anna university, Thiyagarajar Engineering College and many other colleges also. But this college holds a unique value for entrepreneurship development. So I chose this college. I just preferred this college over other colleges. The admission process is divided into two catagories. You can enter here through the TNEA or you can enter through managament quota. Cut offs for the software branches will be around 186 marks in the counseling. For the core branches it will be around 160 marks.

the college encourage the students to participate in all sports and extra curricular activities
the college campus is eco-friendly and environment friendly
the college faculties are friendly with students

Dislikes

the college are with the strict rules and regulations
the college has low placement activities
the college has not signed some of high companies for placement

I heard that this college has best placement oppurnities for weach student and good infrastructure than the other bcollege and actually i tried for srm and vit and i wrote the entrance exam for these two college i did not selected so i prefer this college

toilets could be maintained rest of the architecture is well built
campus life has been better if they increased the social interactions could be far better
i have opted for the masters so i have declined management

Dislikes

mainly if there are 5 toilets then the three are damaged mostly and fans could have been work faster
boys boys talk, girls girls talk if boys girls talk then the management talk
but when i heard it form my friend they intended that if they dont like the company too they have been forced to accept the company.

Admission:

i have got an admission in srm university but due to th relations have recommend this institution i have no other chances rather dhan joining in this college but i will not hesitate joining this college things that i have regret is they are not allowing private vehicles to the instituion strict rules thats we should not wear casuals to the college.

college infrastructure is good ,staffs are friendly that too in cse department only
college canteen is good and food is comparitively good
mentorship is good and faculty is friendly

Dislikes

interaction is poor and people like floor staff dont treat you well
strict monitoring over gender interaction
dress structure is very strict and formal attire is required

i got admission at SNU chennai but the fees structure was 3 L per annum ,i cant afford much so i chose this college . I tried SSN but i cant able to pass through. we can apply through TNEA and other admission is also possible which is consortium

Sad truth

Likes

I got good friends and social interactions with students from various departments.
The staffs especially from cse department are too friendly.
Food and snacks in the canteen are good.

Dislikes

The management is worse in Sairam. Students are not free to talk and interact with their opposite gender.
The management always finds a way to get money from the students. They put fine for unnecessary reasons.

Admission:

I applied through tnea counselling. I had a cutoff of 189.5/200 and I applied for top colleges like CEG,MIT,SSN. I know I won't get seat in those colleges as my cutoff is not upto that level. Then I preferred for REC, CIT AND then SEC. My primary need is cse course. Even though I got seat in REC in ECE department. I had given upward movement in the counselling which got me a seat in SEC (CSE).
