- Siddaganga Institute of technology is a great college in tumkur and has multiple benefits like it has a huge campus area of 65 acres and lots of greenery in it providing peaceful environment.
- This college offers us with many coding opportunities like competitions held almost every month. These help us to learn and improve coding techniques effortlessly and in a fun way.
Dislikes
- Minimum attendance required is 85% which is hard to manage, even though it makes us attend classes but classes become hectic and hard to handle along with studies.
- Marking schemes for CIE is complicated for a student to understand and obey.
Course Curriculum Overview:
curriculum decided is well enough as it is mainly based on practical reasons like making projects and lab experiments on regular basis.Teaching methods are good and it helps you get clear view of the topics you cover. Exams are approximately held 1 and half month apart which is perfect, there are two internals and then semester end examination which covers entire syllabus of that semester.

In each semester there are two internal examinations for each subject and 1 semester End Examination is conducted. It is quite easy to pass the examination but passing lab externals becomes difficult for some students sometimes due to strictness.

The faculty are very chill and supportive. They always help you to make you focus on your skill and focus on your academic .and also motivates students to focus on doing startups .but in some aspects they are strict I.e attendance.

The faculties were more than average and quite supportive. All the faculties were highly qualified and polite. The student ratio was 60:40 percent, male and female. Exams were at perfect timings giving students a proper timetable for students to prepare for it.

Each semester has 2 internals and 4 quizzes and at last sem exam. one sem is about 4-5 months and according to difficulty level it is very easy to pass the exam even if you study a day before the exam or at last night before an exam

I choose this course because i like to analyse data.. and this course is has a bright future ahead. Faculty of this college are strict. You have to attend the classes your attendance should be atlest 85% or you'll be in trouble. There are 2 internals 4 quizzes in 1 semester.. Passing is easy but scoring a good grade point is little bit tough
