The course is good because it gives knowledge about hardware and software as well.
If you think that you are going to get a good internship, then you should try other colleges. However, in terms of faculty and placements, its a very good college overall.

Dislikes

Sometimes the curriculum is nice enough to get involved in the activities, while other times its boring, depending on the different semesters of studying in college.
There is a 10% fee hike, but due to COVID, there was no fee hike this year.

Generally, right in the mid of the third year, the students become eligible for campus placements. Companies such as TCS visit the college for placements. Almost 45% of students get placed every year from the placements. & most of the students find their way to at least get an internship.

5/6 sem we become eligible for placements. Capgemini, Byju's, Infosys, TCS mass recruitment took place. There are a total of 48+ companies coming to our college for recruitment. Average package : 3.5/p.a. Highest: 10.2/p.a. 2020-21 : 82%, 2019-20 : 100%, 2018-19 : 100%.

Various Companies visit SAKEC such as Cognizant, Accenture, BYJU's, BookMyShow, Capgemini, Media.net, Oracle, Jio, TCS, and many more. The highest package offered in the 2020-2021 batch is 12LPA and the average package offered is around 4 -4.5 LPA. In 20-21, 81 % of students were placed, in 2019-2020 and 2018-2019, there is a 100% placement record.

Placement Experience:

Students generally get eligible for placements once they are done with their 6th semester. The companies that visit are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Microsoft, Byjus, etc. During Covid in 2020, the placement was about 90% and I think within a year or two it would be 100%. The average salary is around 2Lakhs per annum and the highest this year was 9 Lakhs per annum. My plan is to do a job after completing my 8th sem and get a good placement so that I can collect some money and go for MBA.

Remarks:

The staff here is amazing and very supportive. Also they carry out a number of events and gives students a chance to showcase their other talents. They have a wonderful 1 week fest. A cultural fest, a tech fest and a sports fest. Students have a great life here.

Remarks:

I joined this college particularly because this institute was offering me Information Technology Engineering. The faculty for Information Technology department for this college is amazing. SAKEC has many internship opportunities. The placement is also pretty good. The college is very supportive in all aspects. The only disadvantage is travelling from western line like the transport is easily available but it takes time so if you are willing to invest time in travelling then you should opt for this college.

Remarks:

It is near to my residence, it is under Mumbai University, which has a good reputation, the college is peaceful, and the campus is not too huge, so it helps me focus on my studies, and I am doing computer Engineering, the labs are well equipped with high-end computers, and the library is great, and from the college computers, you can access research papers of IEEE(for free), and the staff is good.

Remarks:

Shah and Anchor is one of the best colleges in Mumbai. It had the course i wanted to take. It's near to my house. The facilities are really good. I also had my seniors telling me that it is a good college. Now studying here for the past 2 years. My experience is great. All the teachers are very helpful.
