Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute:-

Eligibility for Government Quota Admissions

Eligibility for admission to the B Tech, program, admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by following the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and the Government of India and another statutory body such as AICTE.
Admission to B Tech shall be based on the guidelines given by the State and Central Governments on the reservation. Candidates for admission to B Tech, the program shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or 12th Standard V.H.S.E., C.B.S.E., I.S.C or any other examination considered equivalent to the above-mentioned ones. Other eligibility criteria for admission is currently prescribed by the Government of Kerala through Government orders which are based on the entrance examination conducted by the Commission for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.

Eligibility for Management Quota Admission:-

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% of marks in Mathematics separately, and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for Management seat allotments.

Note

He/She shall be qualified in Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam 2019 for all seats other than NRI Quota. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) with a total annual income not exceeding Rs 6 lakhs, will have a relaxation of 5% marks.
Reservation of seats shall be as per rules prescribed in the relevant rules by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.
50% of the seats will be allotted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala.

Eligibility for NRI Quota Admissions:-

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), put together are eligible for NRI Quota admission. However excellent marks for PCM in the qualifying examination are desirable.
KEAM (Kerala Entrance Exam ) rank is not mandatory to apply under this quota.
An NRI can sponsor the children or dependents and he/she will have to give an undertaking in the prescribed format. Also, he should provide copy of the Passport and copy of VISA, all self-attested.

Interaction between students and faculty is good. It gives many opportunities to study and help forr good results
Techno cultural event of our College is big one many other students of another colleges are participate in this program

Dislikes

Food of hostel is not good in some days it's badly effect the students
Other entertainment programs and events are very less compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main problem faced by the student is exam interval this very small gap is provided. The difficulty level is increased also proper classes and explanations are good in the time of class. In the lab, proper classes are given approximately all machines are in the lab. Proper instructions are followed in the lab manual. The survey projects are also to analyze and detail study about the survey on campus.in civil 3D printing machine is newly added in college.

Pros and cons of SCE

I loved the campus environment which gives a positive energy
More extra curricular activities like skating, sports ,etc., should be promoted in this college

Dislikes

It would be great if there where more extra curricular activities and college fests
College Gym does not have much facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As all other university's curriculum this college also will help us to attain internship from different companies and IITs. If faculties include more site visits than classroom studying it would be better. The timing of series exams are very favourable to students and there are plenty of time to study for that i.e, series exams will be conducted in afternoon sessions. Semester exams have plenty of gaps between each subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Civil Engineering course is NBA accredited. The department had almost 30 faculty members. Many faculty members are pursuing Ph.D. and the teaching method was appreciable, giving us timely notes and PowerPoint presentations series exams were conducted after completion of every two modules, with a total of two series exams before the semester exam

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Management quota fees are a bit higher.But a lot of scholarships are provided by the management. There is a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme in which the whole tuition fee is deducted for students who had 95% or above in 12th level. Likewise different schemes are there for students upto 75% or above.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

They have Feasible structure for merit seat. Management seat fees are bit high than merit seats. They have special fee waver scholarships for top KEAM entrance holders. NRI seat cost is very high for middle class family may not be high for NRI's. They also charge a quation deposit.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

In all quotas, the fee structure is feasible. I'm not fully in touch with the fee structure but I know merit fees has rs. 95k or less for a year. They charge based on tuition and they also charge for uniforms which they provide clothes for tailoring at the start of each year.

FISAT Kochi has been ranked at 96th for Engineering among Indian Engineering colleges, SCMS Cochin has been ranked 85th and Saintgits (SCE) is ranked in the bracket of 125-150 among Indian engineering colleges. All the above colleges are approved by the AICTE.

Admission Process:

Admissions to the FISAT BTech program is based on the scores obtained inKEAM/JEE Mains, followed by counseling, and admission to the program through management quota is based on the rank in the merit list.
