The college has an open campus with a lot of greenery and lots of barren land on which the authorities are constructed new building and facilities. The college is rapidly growing.
The college has a great very big Library in which you'll find almost every book related to Engineering and you can go there to study at anytime.

Dislikes

The college has strict 75% attendance policy.
The marking scheme is good and you can get marks quite easily but you need to be regular in the classes and especially labs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this college and branch because I had interest in Cyber Security. The curriculum prepares you for competition and real world applications and they also have placement training from 3rd years. The frequency of internal examination is quite high. For example, in a semester, a student has to give 3 internals in which the best 2 will be considered to give marks.

In the first 2 semesters we learn subjects which are common to all courses but this isn't necessarily the fault of Rnsit as it follows VTU curriculum. I still wish we could learn subjects particular to only our course so we would be more proficient by the time we're placed into a job

TEMPLE IS INSIDE OUR COLLEGE THAT IS REALLY GOOD FOR US IT"S GIVE US GOOD VIBE.

SENIOR JUNIOR INTERACTIONS IS NOT THAT MUCH GOOD EVERYONE IS BUSY IN THEIR OWN LIFE
LABS EQUIPPMENTS ARE NOT UP TO THE MARK .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course as 6 out of 10, I took this course because of it is a new course as it have a demand in todays market as a cyber experts. Curriculum of RNS is under the VTU university, IT is quite lengthy and theoritical based. VTU need to add on some current time based courses that will help us to learn new skill as required for work place. Frequency of exams are like we need to write 3 internals and one end sem. difficulty is moderate

Good growth environment from the students and faculty members.
The college has a good balance of academic, sports and cultural activities.

Dislikes

The college Campus is not much big which can create a problem if one needs a big college
Strict attendance policy which irritates sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is well prepared by the faculties from the university. It properly covers the syllabus to achieve the subject outcomes. Faculty to student ratio in the college is fair. By the increment of each semester we get more experienced teachers. All the faculties staff has atleast done M.Tech and some senior faculty members are phd graduates also. We have our term/internal exams every month, it is not much difficult to pass, it just prepare us for the end semester examination by covering the portion of the syllabus gradually and testing it out.

Library is best part campus is good as compare to vtu colleges if you are from cs background you will get placed for sure

Dislikes

If you are hindi speaker and have problem in understanding english you will face problems throughout south india

After our batch college is not affiliated to vtu and become autonomous The faculties are good but you should give your efforts Whenever i feel problem in any subject i can consult respective subject faculty and they really fund solutions for it All faculties are phd and faculty:student ratio is also very nominal
