Students are eligible for placement from the 7 th semester the companies visited are TCS,jio, IBM, the average package is around 4 lakh the highest being around 10 lakhs. 75% of the students get placement. I am planning for a master's after my UG.
I chose Computer Engineering as I was done my diploma in the same course and had a passion for it. Faculties were way too supportive and encouraging towards learning. See, the main thing is they don't just want to complete their syllabus but they want you to learn it conceptually and thoroughly. These are the best faculties I have seen in my entire curriculum journey.
In sixth sem placements are coming in Pillai college of engineering. Jio-offer 3 lac,wipro-3, and many more companies. The average package per company is 3 lac and the highest package per company is 6 lac thanks to Pillai college of engineering
After 3rd-year students are eligible for placements companies began to come and you will be selected according to your GPA. TCS Wipro Infosys etc companies approach this college. 60% to 70% of students get placed. I want to do further studies after my degree.
From sem 6 placements start. Many companies visit there like INFOSYS, WIPRO, etc. 60-70 % of students are placed. I plan to do a job for experience for 2 years and then opt for Post graduation maybe MBA or M.E
After Sem 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like TCS, tech mahindra, infosys, etc visit for offering placements. The highest package offered is 12lakh per annum. I can say 75% of students get placed for sure. After degree, I'm planning to work
The overall infrastructure of college is good. Pillai has some great professors. The college is also close to Panvel railway station. Travelling wise also the college is located in a very convenient place. The main reason for me to join this college was it comes in the harbor line of central railways. So I got a chance to avoid the central line crowd. Overall I enjoyed my 4 years of my engineering life at Pillai's.
