Course Details

Kongu Engineering College offers admission to 11 different specializations under B.E./ B.Tech courses. The total intake of candidates in B.E. is 240 and B.Tech is 120 seats. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply for these courses requires the candidates to have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in PCM/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Biotechnology. The candidates are selected on a merit basis or through TNAE.

The minimum age to apply for B.E./ B.Tech is 17 years.

Course curriculum is very good and faculty is very talented and the total faculty strength is 530.
Mac bro, Hyundai, TCS, CTS and there are more companies that give students the internship opportunities and they provide stipend upto 10,000 - 15,000 Every student are given a chance to do a project And it is mandatory for every student

Negative is college in and out timings of hostel This may be a problem for some students who had no restrictions at home.

Many things attracted me while studying in KEC and library is one of the technical place to enhance and enrich my knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are 50+ faculties in our department wit 90:10 women ratio with average age of 35. Most of the graduates are ME graduates and PHD holders. All of the staff members are friendly and easy to interact about all the things which will enrich ourselves towards our core.

Food is only veg , but i want non veg so this the thing i disliked

College starting time was 8.45 is very earlier compare other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my dream Mechanical is my passion in my childhood days so I chose engineering and like mechanical engineering. Teaching methods are very good all staff are to provide and clear all doubts at any time and there are all knowledgeable people.

For us like counselling, avg fee is 75000. For management, it's around 1 lakh. Management students have to pay donations before the admission. Each department has seperate amount. For mech department, it is around 5 lakhs. All payments are accepted only through Demand drafts.
