Remarks :

College management is good but they have to provide freedom for all the students. Using of mobile phones are restricted and in some cases they say like don't talk to girls and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and exam structure is somewhat okay level. But they have 4 subjects in the last semester, we can't even concentrate on interviews or project due to continuous subject and assignment works. It also applies for the seventh semester as we have to provide pre project. Regarding industrial visits, students can get permission from any industry and they can travel.

Placement Experience :

Mechanical Companies like Titan, JSE Engineering, Steel Strips, and some IT companies like Accenture, Wipro, CTS and Infosys recruited most of the mechanical students. In our campus almost 80% of students get placed every year. Training will be given for all the interested students who are attending the placement. Staffs and senior students will help in those classes.

College Events :

Technical festival - MxCEL (mechanical symposium that unites all the mechanical students from all over the India) Inferno (symposium for robot fighting and quizzes) Cultural festival - Mech Cultural (only for mechanical department) Enthusia ( for all the departments that goes for 3 days).

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible only for merit students and low caste students. They will accept the payment through ATM transfer. We have to open KVB account as the college operating under only KVB. The college provides all the details in the invoice and it is transparency.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers scholarship for all the students after the first year and I have not availed that scholarship.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good as wherever we see it will be of full of green areas and we can sit and relax at evening times. Gender ratio is of 60:40 men women. There are lots of labs for all the departments to provide the students full of practical knowledge and the lab co ordinators and assistants helps the students in all way to provide practical knowledge. They also provide sports quota for joining the college and three of mechanical students also joined with that.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. What we are all because of our seniors only. They taught how to behave with the staffs, what will make anger to them, what to do with the placement, ideas of getting placed in IT companies, what to do if we haven't placed on any companies and so on. They are most helpful than working staffs and assistants.

Admission :

I got admission through management quota and the process is simple as we have to provide our mark sheets and certificates and have to fill some forms. I don't know the exact dates. I am interested on car and related activities so I chose mechanical engineering.

Faculty :

There are 50+ lecturers in our department with 90:10 men women ratio with average age of 40. Most of the lecturers are ME graduate and 50% of the total lecturers are PhD holders. All the staffs are friendly and we can easily share our things which is helpful for everything.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
