Location - The Location of The college is very Bad because i have to travel a lot to reach The College

The placement cell is really good. They work really hard to bring companies. And mostly people are placed. Infact in my case, even faculty people tried to bring core companies for EE students.
The faculties are really good. Specially in my department, the professor were really helpful with academics, I enjoyed attending most of the lectures. If you are honest and sincere, you will be liked by most.

Dislikes

No campus life. Honestly it's just a building with a small basketball court. You don't have cafeteria or halls where you can sit and gossip. It's almost like a school but even my school had a bigger playground lol.
No extraordinary tech fests, events, programs or cultural fest. Since the buildings are divided usually people from gurukul building organise or have these things. I avoided the cultural fest every year lol. They don't give enough funds to organise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is pretty relevant and really let's you choose from IT or Core based on your interest. I have had programming, DSA, cloud computing, ML and IOT that helped me understand my field of interest that was IT. We also had Signal and Systems, Microcontroller, Control systems, Digital Electronics that allowed few of my friends to understand they are more interested into the Electronics side whereas subjects like Machines, Power System, Industrial Electrical System that allowed few of my friends to understand they are interested into the core electrical field. Added to that there are some unnecessary courses, I think removing them would make it easier tbh. And i don't know including GATE into curriculum in 3rd and 4th year makes no sense, cause a lot of us didn't even want to pursue that, but all they said was we would regret not even attempting GATE.

Helpful Faculties and there teaching and helping attitude.
Real life oriented projects for better learning.

Lifts are crowdy and unavailable most of the time.
Canteen food is pricey and not upto the mark.

the college have a different placement cell who looks for all the placement related issues.
Some teachers are very friendly like our english teacher Deebolina maam like i share anything with her

Dislikes

the college campus is too small some thime it feels like im in school
then one building is so far from the other building

Placement Experience:

No actually the placement is actually good in compare to the others private college in west bengal. if you have a decent cgpa you will easily get a placement but for that obviously you should have the knowledge the company wants from you.

Placement giving procedures and companies that comes to visit are many
The exposure from this college is good and we can experience different things if we work hard here.

Dislikes

The campus of the college is worst, no place to play freely.
Class periods are too compact one after another, too much pressure on assignments and studies

Placement Experience:

Mostly from 3rd semester and 4th student become eligible. Many IT companies comes for offering placement, iem have great network among companies. Tcs, Capgemini, PWC, cognizant, Wipro..many more comes but for core fields few are there such as Borosil. The placement package is average for most..but if you work hard you'll get a decent placement. Mostly 80% students gets placement maybe few more. My plans after completing the degree is either building startup or moving abroad for job...if nothing happens then I'll look for job here and then study on robotics.

Discipline and responsibility of the college.
Quality of faculty of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Sometimes the college can be very strict.
Lack of AC in the classrooms can be a big problems for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro , pwc, tcs etc. Highest package can reach upto 9lpa. Average package is 3lpa. Placement percentage is good around 80% students get jobs. I will try to get a job or opt for higher studies.

teachers are highly educated and they are very good to us.
sitting area for students are also good .

washrooms are not well maintained, they need to be cleaned
drinking water is something bad,should be improved

Engineer is my passion so wanted to learn about Electricity. Faculty members are good and lots of students learn under the same floor. Teachers are all of Maters and P.hd. scholars. Term exams have standard questions.

Faculties were supportive and helpful. With better teaching learning process.
Library facility is nice with vast no of books and computer facility.

Dislikes

Mess food quality is not upto the mark on all days.
Mainly present on the outskirts of city so online ordering is sometimes difficult.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can apply for placements. Internship and placement training are provided by the college. The highest package offered is 15lpa and the average is between 5-7lpa. Almost 85% of students get placed by the end of btech.

The discipline of the college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I like the trade of Electrical Engineering. the faculty-student ratio is good and the students get their own mentors which is a very good thing. the faculty members are highly qualified in their respective fields and their teaching skills are very good. the exams are quite difficult to pass but if you study well then it will be okay the semester occurs every 6months and in between sets there are 2mid terms each sem.
