- Government College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra, and now this college has become an autonomous college from the calendar year 2014-15.
- Almost 70 companies visit every year, and there is a very good chance to be placed in good companies.
Dislikes
- The placement percentage was very low, with only about 25 to 20% of students being selected. Speaking of internships, the college did not provide any by themselves. Even if students were doing internships, no stipend was provided.
- The hostel fee is 7000 per year, and the mess is nearby to the hostel. For the mess, you have to pay 9300 per semester, which means approximately 18500 per year

- hostels doesn't have washing machines either you have to wash the cloths or give it to a dhobi who charges money each time.

Placement Experience:
No much idea about the placements as I am in the first year. But I have listened that the placements for the core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil are very good Not sure about the exact figure.

- Delay in the clerical process of the staff
- Lack of bit faculty in the civil department

Placement offers in the civil department and even in the other departments are phenomenal near about all students received offer from various MNCs Highest package in our department was 650000/- Companies were LnT, Burns n McDonell's, SPCL, etc

- Admission process is lengthy and due to government college we have to wait in line
- Syllabus is outdated in college and needs more practical knowledge than theory
Placement Experience:
For 6 and 7 semester students can be eligible for campus placement Basically in this recent may 2024 atlas cop limited has been offered are 12 students from mechanical engineering branch Highest package is about 25 lpa and average is about 6 lpa Mostly above 70% students get placed I am gonna try campus placement and job in the cities

- The Campus area is great and large there is green everywhere.
- The Placements are also good for IT almost everyone get placed in normal conditions.
Dislikes
- There are some faculties who are not good in teaching.
- The staff at Scholarship section behaves rudely and don't provide proper details if we asked.
Placement Experience:
In GCEK the placements are good for IT, EnTC, Electrical. But Placements for Mechanical and Civil are not that much great as compared to other branches. But for other branches also college gives opportunity to apply for IT companies. IT coampanies which visit In Campus are : TCS, ABS, Pratiti Technologies, Cognizant, Capgemini, Persistant, T-Syaytem, Sarvaha, FynDNA, etc. Overall IT 90 to 95 percent IT students gets placement in GCEK.

Basically, I have an interest in computer and information technology. After 12th I research it and I found this college is very good in my reason the faculty of this college is also very good and supporting which is why I choose this college.

I choose this field because having a lot of opportunities in the future. The faculty for academics is not sufficient for some departments. The teaching method is offline and has practical sessions. the exams are conducted very strictly, and it is moderately easy to pass over them.
Placement Experience:
In our college, most of the students are placed in the 4th year. The students are placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, KPIT, etc. The highest package is 13 lakh this year The average package is 4-5 lakh Most of the students are placed in IT companies.

I chose the B.tech electronics and telecommunication engineering because of my interest in software as well as hardware. The course curriculum is really satisfied and in the pandemic it's gets affected by faculty because of online classes issues.
Placement Experience:
Well, as per the record of our college placement there are server mechanical, information technology, electrical and electronics and also civil core company has come. But most of the companies are related to the IT sector and providing the average package of around 4lap. This year highest package is 25 lpa in our college.
