Curriculum is provided by UoM , for our batch. But for now on 24-25 AY students have curriculum from college itself because it has become autonomous so yes now curriculum is way better & flexible. So big yes
Artificial intelligence and data science is an upcoming branch which is most likely to dominate rather then being dominated . The curriculum currently in practice is focused on practicality or application of knowledge.

Computer engineering has a huge scope. I chose it to develop innovative projects that will have a huge impact on the society. The faculty of the college is nice, although certain professors have attitude and mental issues. Professors are qualified with all of them having completed master's.

Faculty is very supportive and they support you in your every doubt. I chose Computer Engineering because it has a growing market and the college itself also has the highest average package and placement rate. Exams here are Organized by Mumbai University.
The course curriculum is modified recently with greater emphasis on thermal, management, and production planning subjects. For Production engineering, the students undergo a compulsory 6-month internship in the 7th semester which is the USP. The faculty is very knowledgeable and experienced and are always helpful even at midnight hour. The faculty: student ratio is around 30:1 There are 2 internal Unit tests of 20 marks each in every semester and are quite easy. For end-semester exams, one needs to study and prepare well. The teachings and study material provided by the faculty are sufficient.
The course curriculum is up to date. All the branches are very much updated and as per Mumbai University. Faculty is also very helpful. The teaching method is also very much example based and practical.
This course is of 4 years with 8 sem conducted my mumbai University,in each sem there are two ut exams and 1 to 2 project submission.oassing exam is tough but your regular studing for atleast 1 hr will make your passing easy
I chose this course as there is certainly going to be an increase in jobs in extc after 4-5 years. Also after graduating you can even move to IT companies if you don't like your job. This is possible only in extc and not in civil or mechanical etc. The faculty is great. All the teachers either already have a PhD or are pursuing a PhD. Since our session started in February 2021, our term exams have been a lot closer to each other and they were quite difficult but I noticed that all the questions asked in term papers were also asked in the university end sem exam. This means teachers have very high knowledge of what can be asked in the semester exam.
As I mentioned production is the oldest course provided by my college, the teachers and staff are most experienced l and they focus on clearing the concepts and more technical aspect rather than marks. If you are in top 10 the u will get good placement opportunities.
