Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years full-time B.Tech program should meet the following criteria specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a Council/Board recognized by the State Government / Central Government concerned, with Individual pass marks (in both theory & practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Computer Application) having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
Age Restriction-The lower age limit is 17 (Seventeen) years as on 31.12.2024.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must qualify for one of the following entrance tests - WBJEE/ JEE (Main)/ CEE-AMPAI

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have little interest in the communication technology, so that's why I decided to choose this course. This course help me alot to learn more about communicating systems. Our college is under makut university so we have 4 CA exams and 2 PCA exams and semister exams in a semister. And the difficulty level is midium, if you just focus on you daily class you will score 70% easily.

- The seniors are also good enough as there is no chance of any ragging.

- The campus is a bit small as compared to other colleges.
- The sports ground is also not quite upto ths mark.

The term exams were a bit delayed because of the late campaign process. The exams were quite tough as our college is not autonomous and the paper comes directly from MAKAUT so it was a bit tough and hard as well.

I am a 3rd-year student of SurTech from the ECE department experiencing excellent infrastructure with a green and clean campus area. Faculty members of the ECE department are very helpful and always ready to guide us in our academics and career achievements. Every year students are placed in renowned companies by campusing and are admitted in IIT and abroad universities for higher studies. Our library provides books for not only academics but also for competitive exams like GATE CAT and many more. Our college has a good transport facility.
