A negative aspect is that its not present in metro location and is mostly semi urban...So students do not get a lot of exposure and experience to big companies and miss on certain chances....A positive aspect is that this colleges leaves everything to students so students are made self dependent..
Positive remarks in many ways but negative remarks in some ways good faculty a good hostel good lab equipment but a bad college infrastructure or we can say an average infrastructure. But as a result, we can say an average college.
I think this college will become again one of the best colleges in India as this college is making fast progress.
Being a government college, the management lacks the will for innovation and development.once it becomes autonomous things will be quite different..Hope what difficulties we have faced in our life our juniors wont face it...wish you success and happy life..
College Academic block is not that very puntual. Its like usual government office. TPO is working hard these days for its level best for placements.
The overall remark about the college is that, it's pretty good, management is although average. Location of the college is not in urban region, and it creates problem, but overall it's good.
Atlast I just want to say that I am in my final year and I don't have any disappointments with my college because as this college is a government funded college and it's fees quite good , it has been rated as one of the best return of investment colleges in India. You also get sufficient amount of time to study and you can build a career of your own as most of us hear are doing and the college is improving again but like I said this sufficient time can also hinder your career if you're not serious for your career. The changes I would like to see was that more emphasis was given on the research field and the placement scene was enhanced a bit that can only take place by the joint efforts of the college administration and the students too
Well,BIT Sindri turns out be the college which has the best returns on investment. Being a government college,it does have its share of setbacks and shortcomings, yet it does provide a platform for students to excel in their life.
Things to be noted: 1) If any senior is travelling and sees a junior in train, he will offer his seat. 2) If there is senior , No junior is allowed to pay for what he eats, drinks, smokes. 3) You need not to buy a single book and every book of seniors can be lend even the notes and drafters. 4) Juniors anywhere in the globe if sees a senior greets him with respect. 5) Even if he holds a higher position in same company , still he treats his college senior as senior. 6) No-matter whats the gap between batches once we come to know that we are BITians the unbreakable bond comes into play. I met a senior first time and still we both were very much comfortable sharing our views and much more. 7) If a BITian has Exam or Interview anywhere over the globe...he just finds where do other BITians live in that area... No need of prior introduction ... just a call and you are warm heartedly welcomed.. 8) Don't know about other colleges but with such facilities Our college alumini are present over all MNC and government companies... Some being CEO's also.. 9) Want to know what an alum feels about his college then just pull the string of BIT in front of any BITian. 10) With less facilities but yet the support from branchmates were unmatched through out life. 11) If you have had an accident then its responsibility of your branchmates & immediate seniors to handle the issue till your parents reach.. and let me tell you without a single penny in pocket they can help you survive the most expensive treatment. 12) I had a friend named Devashish... he heled a mentally challenged senior to recover by giving him time... though that senior was not able to speak in high pitch yet every1 respected him... this shows mentality 13) I have many friends who study in BIT Mesra but none of them has shared such experience... so to the first person... just grow up before posting such things.. Hope now it makes clear to you all what is the relation of BIT's Junior and Senior... If yet their is some doubt then you are free to meet me ..
the best thing of this college is that, In this college during the session you have a lot of time to study and grow your knowledge and prepare for the gate and higher education as well as for job preparation. And bad thing in this college is the student is taking drugs that are bad for our health
From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
