The admission is given based on KCET, COMEDK marks or by management seat. As the cutoffs are unpredictable, they may vary a lot. Talking about mechanical, the cutoffs are extended upto 1Lakh+ The admission process is a bit annoying as there are many students and the admin staffs are less

There are government exams conducted every year through which students who have completed their 12th can apply through which they can get admission. The admission in BIT is given through the merits. There is a cutoff ranking for every branch or course. You can get it from google by searching the cutoff ranking of previous year.

KCET is mandatory for VTU colleges or for that matter any top engineering colleges of Karnataka. One has to be among top 25k rank to get admissions here. Reserved category got admissions till ranked 70 thousand and I also availed that benefit. The admission department is at the ground floor of the admin block and it took one day for admissions to get confirmed after KCET results were out.

I got admission through the KCET exam conducted by KEA. For General merit the cutoff for ECE is around 12-13k rank. And for CSE/ISE/AIML it should be below 8-10k. For other branches it can above 15k. The exams are guided by schemes ( changes yearly) by VTU, which are moderately difficulty in level.

The admission process is done particularly on the dates within the given speculated time. The College will join the Students for management quota or by the government seat. Application form is given in College. If the government seat is alloted then they will provide the fees structure and application with dates.

i have enrolled in a BE programme , my branch is EEE. you can apply for this college through COMEDK exam. The fees is around 2.5L per year. the exam takes place once every year, its a great college if you want to pursue engineering as it offers a lot of opportunity for you to grow and learn and innovate. the exams happens every semsester timings are afternoon. If you are from karnataka you get fees discount which is half the fees as others
