- Some professors who conduct lectures are not much understanding.
Internships Opportunities:
I am not sure about internship beacause i am from first year . So from second year i will get idea about internship programme. Some of my senior friend told me about internship which they get from unofficial groups of college.
Likes
- College is practical centric not theoretical.
- Experienced teaching staff with some literally doctorate level
Dislikes
- Hostels are too poor in condition even without fans
- College is strict and asks for 75% attendance
Internships Opportunities:
This college just lacks around placements. College does not offer any placement for BSc students you need to work kn own to find job and internships but professors help with letting you know about internships and opportunities to work on your goal
Likes
- They have good teaching staff and give knowledge out of the syllabus also
- They have good placement cells before completion of our college we will get the job in our hands
Internships Opportunities:
Colleges are interested with various institutions and research labs if they get any notification from them they tell the students about that or if any students wants to join that institution they talk to them and if possible theg provide a change to students for internship
Likes
- I liked the atmosphere of the college. It has a huge campus consisting of botanical gardens, sports grounds, halls, canteen, recreational halls which makes the whole experience very soothing.
- There are placement opportunities from companies like TCS, DELOITTE , BLUE PINEAPPLE,etc which is essential for my professional growth.
Dislikes
- The canteen food can be better, it is affordable but it can be better.
- Fests are not held as regularly as some other colleges.
Internships Opportunities:
There`s an internship names "EARN & LEARN" scheme which provides opportunity for students to learn as well as gain practical experience. Besides there are also online internship programmes being offered through the college.
Likes
- Teaching staff is very supportive and all are very experienced
- Pre placement activity are taken by the senior which helps in placement
Dislikes
- Student are little bit not comfortable of participating in the cultural activities because in our college there is so much fest are going in whole year
Placement Experience:
From the third semester students are eligible for the placement. There is a dedicated placement cell for the college which look out all the placement related activities and track all the students data for the placement.There is campus placement almost upto 20 compunies came for recruitment.Highest package is upto 14lpa and average is upto 3-4lpa

- The college campus was very good and refreshing.
- The college faculty was very cooperative and supportive.
Dislikes
- The college canteen was not much good ,it is not relevant.
- There is no uniform for postgradute students.
Internships Opportunities:
The fergusson college offers various internships opportunity .The college organize pre placement activites to prepare student for placement.Some companies visit for placement also and provides internships ,it includesTCS ,josh ,accenture ,Infosys, Capgemini etc.
Likes
- Professors are extremely supportive towards the students
- Wide scope to interests in co curriculum
Dislikes
- Too much to walk to go to the Biotechnology department
- The distance from canteen to canteen is too much
Internships Opportunities:
Internship duration for 6-10 months from big companies like emcure and institutes like IISER, ICAR, etc is the main attraction of the students studying in the college. The stipend ranges from 15000- 45000/- per month.
Likes
- The infrastructure is wonderful, you really get to feel that college vibes.
- The campus is quite vast with almost all the requirements well fulfilled.
Dislikes
- To maintain the vintageness of the campus many thinks aren't changed.
- The online website isn't up to date , you need to verify some things offline.
Internships Opportunities:
The interships mostly offered are to CS students which contains stipend facility. For other departments the interships mainly are offered in the TY of the course and well promoted by the faculty but barely any of them are paid.
Likes
- College campus, departments and infrastructure.
- Experienced Faculty which provides maximum knowledge and opportunity for research oriented studies.
Dislikes
- No wifi in campus, even if it written on college site
- Central canteen which is uncleaned and poor infrastructure
Internships Opportunities:
Talking about internships , there are only unpaid internships provided by college professors. But very less , like 10% of overall faculty which provides internships. Since I'm working under my professor , I observed there are very less number of professors who provides internship.
Likes
- Will get diverse options to explore individual. Teachers are very much supportive and helpful.
- Students are brilliant in Fergusson College. Individual Will get good campus life.
Dislikes
- Somewhere silent person will not able to explore himself.
- You will not get to see much placements after BSC but there are good placement after masters.
Internships Opportunities:
Will not get much internship through college but teachers or students will share intership opportunities on WhatsApp group. Be active in college different WhatsApp group. Be attentive lot of activities goes on every week in college. You can look for intership on various online websites.
