Ewing Christian College : A Student's Perspective

I like the green campus of my college widely spread over 42 acers with very much varieties of plants with some rare species and the old structured department's buildings and the one old building which the big wall clock is embedded.
I like the gardens with variety of flowers that bloom everyday , common seating areas around the departments , the basketball & badminton court and the huge college ground with over 600 meters of circumference .

Dislikes

As you all know it is 2024 and in 2025 mahakumbh is going to be organized in Prayagraj , due to this in the college's parking areas was totally looking like slum , some of the labours make their tents there .
Garden adjoint to maths department was totally destroyed ; which we have cleaned up by our team efforts , one of the boys washroom is also being demolished due to the widening of roads by PWD .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The year wise fee structure of B.Sc(Mathematics) for first year according to academic session2023-24 is 100 rupees for registraion of new students in college and course fee for both the semesters is 11,350 rupees in which all the tuition fees, admission fees , developement fees, caution fees and the other compulsory charges are included, and you have to pay 100 rupee to each departments to access your labs ; according to your stream for practical subjects . And if you found guilty in any of the faulty activities conducted by you then you are charged according to the damages you have done.

Informative and honest review of Ewing christian college Allahabad

Likes

Teachers are good and supportive and very helpful.
Centralised AC is also available in the class rooms and that's a relief in summer time.

Dislikes

Some teachers should really look up to there teaching style as seeing some teachers I feel like that they don't want to teach but as it's there daily job so then they have to come.
Teachers often come late for the class, like they take 15-20 mins extra time to come.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

1st year is divided into two sems For semester 1st the fee was ?19000 and for semester 2 the fee was ?19000 as a total fee for 1st year was ?38000. In 2nd year the semester 3 fee was ?26180 and semester 4 fee was ?11220 as a total fee for 2nd year was ?37400. In 3rd year they take full amount of ?36820.

Every year I pay my fee . I paid 3 years . Fee structure different for sc and st students and general students. We pay our fee every year for 3 year's courses. I paid every year 50 k means total 1.5 lakhs

The Perspective of Kenit on ECC

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The yearly fees in my college that is at Ewing Christian College ( ECC ) for B.Com is around 37000 per year.... Yes.. for first year it was around 38000 and next year it decreased to around 37000 and for third year its around 36000 .. Also the College fees for my course is same for every category.. I don't know much about Scholarship and fees reduction through any sort of way..

I liked the college location and it's surroundings
College is well devloped and well maintained

Dislikes

Classes are not smart and digital classes
College never listens to students directly

Fees Of Ewing Christian College is very low as it's the autonomous college and also affiliated to Allahabad University.Every scholarship is available except the scholarship of mobile and tablet.Thier is no financial support from the college. Campus doesn't give you any role in the college and for the college as they think that we are useless

The quality of teaching and behaviour of teachers ,also the environment of college is good.
This college is more disciplined than main campus of allahabad.Semester wise exam taken in this college.

Dislikes

Mainly nothing is dislikable in this college we can say building or infrastructure is old as it is old and reputed college.
The information process is late happening in this college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Their is no increased in tuition fee but the fees may be not affordable for some of the students who are comimg from poor backgrounds.So thier is need of improvement in this field.The cost of fees is 29000 per year which includes all tuition fees, service fees,and other compulsory charges.Thier is a big advantage for students who are not affordable for this college fees they are given scholarship fees at every semester which is almost 80%of their college fees as i am in 3 rd semester now so i am not eligible for campus employment, including job roles, responsibility,and the stipends awards this things are preferred for students which are in final year of their respected courses.

Professors are helpful, They Guide students well.
Examinations are handled nicely, It is fair and rewarding.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is too old needs to be developed.
Not a proper placement cell for students future.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

First year tution fees is around 9000 Rs. if you take BSc PSM in the second year the same cource fees is around 7000 and in the final year if you drop physics it is around 5000 Rs. One can always apply for UP scholarship it gets pass on for almost 90 per cent students.

I am new here so i don't know about campus employment opportunities but in terms of scholarship and financial assistance.Yes UP goverment provide you schorlship for your college fee. You submit your in two term or one term according your facility

I was enrolled in Master of Science in Zoology and fees of my course for 2 years of course was around 80,000. Yes there are many scholarship available for needy students where they can get upto 100% fee refund.

Campus:- it has an outstanding structure and proper environment for college students
Faculty:- b.sc have the best faculty i can say

Dislikes

Parking area is too bad and also have no mangement
Washroom:- there is common washroom for boy's it's not specific in departments

The fees for first 2 year is 10000 and in third year the fees will become 8000 and it includes all your activities of college including library and parking fare . The scholarship is all according to government process. There are many different programs where run and in that we get the award and cash prizes
