- The student-to-faculty ratio is good; usually, there will be almost 20-30 students in a class, and most of the professors are qualified as well.
- There is a job fair that takes place twice a year, both virtually and on campus.
- I received a TRU Diversity Scholarship in the first year, which was awarded to students with good marks.
- Library and sports facilities are good and have a number of clubs for arts and sports, you name it.
- I live near the university, and my rent is 400 CAD for the personal room.
- I pay nearly 1990 CAD per course, and the university increases the fees every year, despite receiving funds from outside.
- The student-to-faculty ratio is good; usually, there will be almost 20-30 students in a class, and most of the professors are qualified as well.
- It is cheaper than most Canadian major universities, but it still offers a lot of programs and activities.
Dislike
- The co-op option was not for us MBA students, which was also a bit disappointing.
- The university does not provide any placements, and it is not something specific to TRU; it is just how universities in Canada operate

- This Post Baccalaureate course in Supply chain management was available only at TRU and it’s located in British Columbia, an important international hub in logistics and exports. Job opportunities are comparatively higher in this province when compared to other provinces.,
- The university is diverse and involves students from different parts of the world. Staff are really supportive and are open to help in whichever way possible. Qualified professors & lecturers and the university is located in a scenic city with lots of explore.
- Dislikes:
- University tuition fee is really expensive and comparatively fewer jobs in and around Kamloops city. When looked at housing costs, on campus is a good place to live, but again the cost is massive when compared to the amenities available.
Overview:
I have completed one year of study and it has indeed been a roller coaster of an experience. There are ups and downs but in the end the focus shouldn’t divert from the goal. There may be days when you may feel lonely but it’s important to remember why you’re there. Focus on your goals, speak to family and friends, work and strive hard to achieve your dreams.
Fees:
A single subject costs $2000 approximately. My course consists of 22 subjects which totals to $44000 CAD.
- Likes:
- It was one of the best universities to pursue MBA in British Columbia without a GMAT. As I decided very late to move to Canada I had not planned to take GMAT. This helped me to still pursue MBA from one of the best universities in BC,
- Some professors were extremely Knowledgeable. The campus was great. Good exposure to extra curricular activities like basketball games, LEAP, etc. I made good friends, have good relationships with my professors.
- Dislikes:
- There were no courses that would actually prepare us students for our future jobs. So many software were not included in our courses to prepare us for the job roles in future. In a technologically advanced era, the students could benefit a lot if SQL, Tableau and Python like softwares are taught to us.
Overview:
Overall experience was okay, for the fees that I paid to become an MBA graduate I had a lot of expectations regarding learning a lot of things that could actually help me get a job sooner.
Fees:
35000 CAD
Overview:
I contacted CareerBrick in Delhi, and they helped me with the admission process. Gave IELTS after studying for 3-4 days from an online platform called Magoosh. The admission process was relatively easy. Got the confirmation from the university in a couple of months, and that's it. Also, I gave my GMAT too, although it isn't a prerequisite for admission at the university.
Fees:
My mom and dad paid the fees for both years. The first-year fee was submitted directly through the bank before my arrival in Canada. The second-year fees I paid through my credit card to build some credit history. My mom and dad paid me the money back instantly, so that helped.

Overview:
I applied with my engineering transcript and IELTS scores for admission with help of an agent from India. It took six months to know a decision from the university's side. I selected this institution because being an engineer this is the only institution that takes non-business graduates for higher studies in programs such as post-baccalaureate diplomas.
Fees:
I pay nearly 1990CAD per course and the university increase the fees every year despite receiving funds from outside. This is a huge drawback and even though the university claims it's an adjustment for the inflation. I pay my fees before the beginning of every semester.
Overview:
The course and papers made sense for what I wanted to pursue: Affordable course.
Overview:
TRU provides options to work on and off campus. They also have a co-op program where we can gain career related work experience before graduating
Overview:
TRU is one of the best experiences anyone can get. For an average student like me, you get more than average rating University which has a good campus and can explore a lot of things in the University from joining clubs to being part of all the activities. One of the other reasons is diversity which is difficult to find in many colleges in Canada but fortunately, TRU will give that opportunity, especially in non-business courses.
Fees:
19000 CAD is per year program fee.
Overview:
I came from Ukraine so the price is a good reason to choose TRU. It is cheaper than most Canadian major universities but still, it offers a lot of programs and activities. That fact that I had really good grades in school helps me still in studying and I did not have any problems with getting in a course.
Fees:
For international students, 1 semester (4 courses) is close to 8 000 CAN$ depending on your program and additional fees like gym, bus or newspaper. There are some scholarships available for international students. You can apply once a year. You can search for a scholarship using our university service. Some of them can be for a specific program or something like this.

Hi, my name is Kushal Babu Ghimire. I am 21 years old. I am from Nepal Kathmandu. Recently, I passed my high school with a 3.15 GPA in Adarsha multiple campus Nuwakot. My plan for future study is because the subject I want is not relevant in my country. So, I would presume my bachelor's in a foreign Uni.
