Overall experience was okay, for the fees that I paid to become an MBA graduate I had a lot of expectations regarding learning a lot of things that could actually help me get a job sooner.
Course Curriculum :
I was given research experience but yes a better understanding of the software that Managers usually use in a company setting would have helped me better to land a job.
Exams :
I only took IELTS and the score required was above 7 points. I didn’t take any GMAT. Also, I had submitted an SOP and 3 LORs. There were no interviews.
Placement :
This is where the struggle starts for us when we don’t have the right education on the software that the companies are currently using heavily to carry their business operations. And that is why it is very important to include courses on learning software which will help us highly to find a job.
Internship :
No the co-op option was not for us MBA students which is also a bit disappointing.
Fees :
35000 CAD
Faculty :
I don’t know the ratio. I don’t remember it too well, but a few of the professors were very passionate about teaching but a few were only satisfying their ego
Campus Life :
Campus is great, there are lots of activities on campus. The LEAP program helped us explore places around Kamloops.
Hostel :
The cost of living when I moved was better than it is now. The house rentals were affordable.
