MIT Manipal BTech admission for 2027 accepts MET or JEE Main. The MET option requires 50% in the qualifying science subjects, while the JEE Main option has higher marks and percentile requirements. MET 2027 dates are awaited. KMC Manipal MBBS uses NEET UG and medical counselling.

The following BTech rules apply to MIT Manipal. MAHE campuses in Mangalore, Bengaluru and Jamshedpur have separate programme choices.

MAHE Manipal Admission Dates 2027

The 2027 MET deadlines, exam dates and counselling schedule are awaited. In 2026, the revised first-phase deadline was 23 March, followed by tests on 13-14 April. Phase II closed on 26 April, with tests on 23-24 May and tentative June counselling.

MIT Manipal BTech Eligibility and Selection 2027

For an Indian board candidate, MIT Manipal asks for Physics and Mathematics in Class 12, plus Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or an accepted technical vocational subject. English is compulsory. The BTech CSE admission rules state at least 50% aggregate in the required science subjects for the MET option.

The MET merit score gives equal weight to MET and Class 12 marks in Physics, Mathematics, the optional subject and English. Counselling then uses merit, branch preferences and vacancies.

For the JEE Main option, BTech CSE requires 75% in Physics, Mathematics and the accepted optional subject, plus at least 90 JEE Main percentile. MAHE reserves 20% of General-category seats for JEE Main rank and conducts one online counselling round for this group.

KMC MBBS applicants take NEET and register for the authorised medical counselling process. After allotment, they report to KMC. BPharm and BArch have separate exam and selection requirements.

How MAHE Application and Counselling Work

For a MAHE-managed programme, an applicant chooses the course and campus, registers with an email address and mobile number, enters academic details, uploads the required documents and pays the application fee. MAHE currently states an ₹800 General category application fee and another ₹1,200 for courses with its entrance test. The amount is therefore ₹2,000 when both charges apply. NEET and other external exam fees are paid to their own authorities.

After MET results, eligible BTech and BPharm applicants select branches and take part in MAHE counselling. Seat allotment depends on the relevant merit list, preferences and vacancies. A candidate who receives a seat must complete document verification and pay the amount in the allotment instructions by the deadline. MAHE will publish the 2027 payment and reporting schedule with the counselling details.

Applicants need Class 10 and 12 marksheets, entrance scores, a photograph, signature and applicable identity or category records. The course and applicant category determine the final document list.
