Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) was established in 1953 in Manipal, Karnataka. Manipal University Admission 2024 is open for its UG and PG courses. Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. MAHE offers B.Tech (Regular+Lateral), B.Pharm, BBA, PharmD, B.Arch and BA (Media & Communication) at the Undergraduate level. At postgraduate level, it offers M.Sc (Medical), M.Sc (Nursing), ME, M.Tech, M.Pharm, Pharm. D (PB) and other M.Sc courses as well. In addition, Manipal University also offers M.Phil and PhD courses.

For MUJ you will be needing a rank under 15k for CSE i think. Admission process if smooth and swift. I think the exam was for 3 hours. I am not sure about the reservation benefits. Entrance exam occur only once a year.

Above 60% in 10th and 12th grade with PCM combination. To get admission in MIT , Student has to write Manipal Entrance Test (MET). Once rank is announced, consulling will be held either offline or online .

After this students must pass the entrance test conducted by the university which was online mode, then pay the payment of course by full-time payment, yearly or quarterly.

I opted for met entrance test where I scored 10500 rank all india and opted computer science engennering . So if we go with cuttoff it varies every year but its around 1000 for cse and above for IT department.
Admission:
Admission process is pretty simple. We write the Manipal Enterance test and based on the ranking in that we get alloted a seat in a particular branch. Application for the exam can be found in the MAHE website and the exam is conducted in 2 phases every year. Difficulty level is medium.
Likes
- Infrastructure is well maintained and top of the class
- Laboratories are also well established with newest tech
Dislikes
- Assignments are all given at once and even during exam times
- Some faculties are not that great and you have to refer to other resources to understand the subject
Admission:
The admission process can be through 2 ways- direct admission and thru MET exam. I came thru the met exam which was moderately difficult and had a rank of 17369 thru which i selected my branches thru various manipal colleges. After which i got my first preference which was manipal university jaipur cse aiml.

- Faculty is really good . They are not merely disseminators of knowledge but enthusiastic mentors who actively engage with students.
- college also provides diverse extracurricular activities includes photography, debating and much more
Dislikes
- Sometime college is asking too much money to conduct college-fest
Admission:
Eligibility includes more than 50% aggregate marks in maths and physics and securing a good rank in the MET examination. you can find all the details at www.manipal.edu here. No reservation policy is the best thing in college. MET exams are conducted twice best of one will be taken to count the rank, it is 2 hrs exam that includes physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English.

- Hostel is too crowded and gets really claustrophobic
- Some faculties really just straight up sucks
Admission:
You just have to get above 60% in 12th grade but to take admission in my course (CSE), you'll have to have a percentage above 90% and if you're giving MET, you'll get it if you have the rank under 15k. After the met, you're asked to go through a counseling process and then you're assigned the college.

There is no age limit for appearing in MET examination. However, there is percentage requirement and that is to secure at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and any of the optional subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Vocational Subject).
Yes, candidates can select their preferred exam centres. You can select your preferred exam centre at the time of filling out the application form of MET. The MET exam centres are located all over India such as Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat and Haryana.
The last date of submitting application form of MET was 26th March 2024 for phase 1. The phase 2 applications has been started and the last date for application submission for phase 2 will be announced soon. The tentative examination dates of MET can be 18th May or 19th May 2024.
You can get admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) on the basis of scores of the last qualifying examination and no entrance examination scores are required for the course. The registration process for the course has not yet started for this session.
Is hostel fees separate?
Manipal Academy of Higher Education offers a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. The hostel fee is separate from the course fee of this institute. The total hostel fee for both boys and girls is Rs 90.50 k - Rs 1.82 l.
