• Once I got an offer from Drexel, I started searching for off-campus accommodation, getting into whatsapp groups, telegram and more. From there, I found one accommodation that was near campus. Walking a distance to my department building, grocery stores nearby. Very flexible and relaxing. However, finding a safe and affordable place was challenging. So I would recommend starting to find accommodation as soon as possible and connecting with your co-students and starting to make a network.

• I have no idea about the job percentage because I never came here to work. I came here to secure knowledge and go back to India.

• People find houses from Zillow.com, Apartments.com. There are other reality groups that offer affordable housing options to students.
• There are also WhatsApp groups for Drexel Indian students who help in finding accommodation.
• Look fast; if you drag the time, houses fill up pretty quickly, and you will be left with an expensive one.

Every quarter Drexel University conducts a career fair. Companies visit and give information about internships and placement. We get the chance to network with people from different companies/ industries.

I chose this university for the CO-OP opportunity, speciality in the Pharmaceutical industry. The university helped me to develop my resume, LinkedIn profile, etc.

It varies depending on the major that you pick, if you're in the medical field in Philly, you've hit the jackpot. The city is filled with med school students, and Philly is known for its healthcare, and hospital infrastructure. Because of the co-op program, you get to have an in with companies, all my friends got placed in big companies: Apple, Microsoft, JP Morgan, BlackRock etc. I didn't do the co-op system so I am still applying for full-time roles. I would say the median salary is between 70k-150k depending on what you pursue.

I picked this over any other college because of its city-integrated campus. It also had business analytics as an option for a STEM degree, even though it was a co-major, so only 24 extra credits. Also liked their co-op system where you get to intern full-time with big companies, almost promising a return offer in the future.

There are multiple employers that come on campus and on co-op websites which you can really make use of. Goldman, big four, wall street etc etc linked in and college resources will be your best friends looking for employers. Attend networking events for sure! The average package can be anywhere from $70-90k

I had taken the SATs and applied for Drexel University alongside 4 other universities (Texas A&M, NYU, Purdue, and Penn State). I got in all the above listed and got deferred in NYU. The application process specifically for Drexel was pretty straightforward. I had to submit my SAT score, write 2 essays, and fill out the application form, and financial aid form. I had applied early decision.

Due to covid, research funding was limited this year. Else usually there are various research opportunities at Drexel. The pay varies from $10-20/per hour depending upon the work and professor. The university keeps conducting various networking events and many industries participate in them. Apart from university-wide career fairs, LeBow conducts its own networking events, and practice interviews with industry leaders who willingly take mock interviews of students and provide detailed feedback. The alumni help you a lot with placements if they have any openings in their companies.

Course Curriculum, Alumni Network. LeBow in particular has a great alumni network and the careers team here is exceptionally nice and helpful.

Our placements are much higher than most universities and this is because of the cooperative experience. We have been able to build our relationships with various companies, gaining 2 years of experience before we graduate. There is a 90% chance that you will have a job before graduation because you are already trained in this field.

They're a private school, specializing in co-ops, and are among the best in the country with connections to Fortune 500 companies. Students are able to gain 2 years of experience even before graduation.

They are very good because of the co-op program. A lot of students get offered full-time jobs by their co-op employers.

I chose Drexel for the co-op program and also because I planned to transfer before I started and my counselor told me a private school would be easier to transfer from.
