- It is based on GRE scores and the entire profile in general, so applicants must apply early for scholarships.
- NJIT has a huge gym and playgrounds for soccer, as well as indoor games like pool and other activities.
- Nearby off-campus housing is available right across from NJIT, which is not affiliated with NJIT in any way.
- They are always happy to help students when help is needed and have office hours that students can attend to receive help from them.
- Compared to my other admits, NJIT was on the priority list because of its location (near New York), which is kind of cheaper.
Dislike
- As university students, we have the choice to select subjects, which are limited to a few options anyway

- Few factors: 1) It's reputation in computer science 2) Location 3) Return on investment,
- NJIT has wide range of research opportunities and ranked best in New Jersey. It have been giving tough competition with top universities in Research and development. Also there is a makerspace where people can get to create creative things with 3D printing and manufacturing tools. This university has best in class services.
- Dislikes:
- There are not much to dislike as of now but one thing that could bother anyone who gonna join here could be fee structure. Sometimes it doesn't feel like this much of fee isn't worth for what we experience.
Overview:
As of now it is going good except being paying 20k$ for tuition this semester.
Fees:
$55,000.
Overview:
I wanted an international exposure. I thought of USA and got to know about this course. NJIT had the program called 'Flexpath', through which international students could complete their semester online. I did my fall semester online. I saved a lot of money because i did not have to pay for housing, residence or anything else. I started for my visa preparation. I was here in mid Jan 2021 to continue my semester. The difference between online and in-person becomes thinner in NJIT. In fall 2021, classes were in-person.
Campus Life:
Undergrad makes up majority of population in NJIT. Majority grad students are Indian. There are n no. of clubs. I am in a group called Sanskar. All the grad students club report to a committee, which handles every club. Similarly for other types of courses as well. In college lobby, there are many stalls everyday. Different clubs are there. There is a pub in our college. Delivery of alcohol is limited. Many events are going on, where we get free food.
Overview:
You can complete your Master's in 3 semesters and it's nearby New York great place to stay and explore. Lots of start-up companies are there around campus.
Fees:
40- 45 Lakhs is the program fee.
Overview:
I picked NJIT because of its small class sizes compared to the other 7 schools I applied to. Since I had a fee waiver for the application I did not have to pay the $75 application fee. After applying I heard back from them within 2 weeks about my decision. They do look for higher math scores and want you to take at least up to pre-calc in high school since math is deemed to be difficult here. NJIT has a tutoring center for all subjects so it is really easy to find help when one seeks help.
Fees:
It is $8000 per semester but financial aid does bring it down to $2000-$3000 per semester.
Overview:
The course structure for Data Science was the best amongst other universities. As my area of interest is in Big data and Machine Learning, Professor Roshan Usman and Professor Chase Wu are the best in the industry with their ongoing research projects in the data science field.
Fees:
Fee structure includes university fees, tuition out of city graduate, graduate student association, matriculation, health insurance.
Overview:
I liked the course structure and the location. compared to my other admits NJIT was on priority list because of the location(near to the new york), which is kind of cheaper. and talking about the courses, professors are really good here, as they have more of practical concerns. and they are really helpful.
Fees:
around 55000$ for whole masters.
