The University of North Texas’ Department of Accounting is committed to preparing students for career development, life-long learning and a global work environment. The Department of Accounting is proud to be separately accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission (SACS). The department has also received separate endorsements from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
