Talking about internship, Our Principal is very conservative regarding internships. Sir won't let us intern at a particular office. One has to convince him many a times repeatedly in order to get permission for internship. Stipend is provided after 4th year internship. I have been working in a lawyer s chamber since 3 years.

Internship is one type of credit course for the students . Our Principal sir allow us to go for internship not only in State itself , many are doing at outside law firms . According to work and experiences one can get stipend . If we see the job opportunities then it's not suitable for dependent one who seek for job , our law college is traditional law college , most of the students from our college opt for Practice or Judiciary .
The college invited the placements in the previous year only. Till then there were no placements at the end of the course at all. We are expected to get jobs ourselves. But this isn't the problem of Madhusudan Law college alone. Most law colleges in India doesn't have placement options. It is because of the nature of the course. We are going to be practicing lawyers at courts all over India. So that is not a job which can be gained via placements. Individual talents and efforts are what matters in our career. The most that the college can do to help us is to give us recommendation letters at the end of course.
There isn't much till now. Placements is not one of the strong points of the college. Ours is law college so may be that's why we don't have placements. So far, most of our seniors either joined law firms as juniors or went for the post graduation degree. The college doesn't help in getting jobs in any way.
