Remarks :

Academically it's good, but poor infrastructure. No one cares about the infrastructure, since four years we just see the buildings getting painted but no renovation is being done because as we are being said that no proper funding is being provided.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In our 3rd and 4th year, out of 6 subjects, we have 5 compulsory subjects and one elective subject. But elective subject is not provided to the students to be chosen instead the college authorities force us to study the one elective subject which they choose and I DNT the value of having 3 elective subjects in our syllabus. Rest , in each semester, we have 6 subjects. And in total we have 10 semester in 5 years.

Placement Experience :

Talking about internship, Our Principal is very conservative regarding internships. Sir won't let us intern at a particular office. One has to convince him many a times repeatedly in order to get permission for internship. Stipend is provided after 4th year internship. I have been working in a lawyer s chamber since 3 years.

College Events :

Every year A National Law Fest -"Armonia" is held by our college where various students from different states take part. Its a three day Fest which is held, having moot Court, trial advocacy and other activities as it's main events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The Fee structure per year is RS.35000/- and it's one of the most affordable fee structure till now as far as I have come across. When others are charging annually 2 lakhs or more, our fee structure is very less in comparison to that.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I Don't know much about it. Because the course, we are studying is a self financing course and loan or scholarship whether it's available or not I have no idea about it. It might be that students securing high percentage of marks must be made available to that.

Campus Life :

Sports, Debates, essay writings, extempore, etc. Except academics, we have moot courts, which is very essential for law students and trial advocacy which helps us to tackle cases in future and games and other activities are also made possible

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel isn't provided for 5years course students but it's provided for the 3 years students but their hostel is in a worse condition, one can see the half cracked walls, water running from the top and it's not renovated. Students of 5 years course can go for private hostels.

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very helpful so as to help out the students in academics as well as extra curricular activities. They are the course of internships and they step by step provide ample amount of information required in each step as we go ahead in future. They support us when we are right and scold when wrong.

Admission :

For appearing the entrance test, one has to fill the form. then, after appearing the entrance test, if one is selected on the basis of the marks secured, they are allowed to take admission. We have only limited seats i.e. 60 nos of seats.

Faculty :

They are qualified but they are less in number and we expect for more appointment of teachers. We don't have enough teachers so we are not taught every subject provided in our syllabus which creates hurdle in a student's life.

Entrance Preview:

In order to get into KIIT Law school, I had to appear KIITEE law exam 2014. I secured a gud rank in it and thus I got into KIIT University. I am currently pursuing BBA LLB in KIIT Law school, KIIT University. I always wanted to choose the law line because I was always interested in current affairs, world news, politics, history civics, etc. Knowing that law is related to all these, I landed up here to study BBA LLB here in KIIT.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I have chosen is BBA LLB. It is a very good course. It includes some BBA subjects and some LLB subjects. The syllabus isn't exactly law centric. It also includes BBA subjects. So we are learning both business and laws.

I'm pursuing Law and I have not given the required law entrance examination.I had appeared the JEE and had secured pretty good ranks as then,I wanted to do engineering. But when I got my mind set for Law, by then all the entrance exams were over but luckily,my college had some seats reserved for a few and I got one of it.

Admission:

I was asked to bring my Board certificates of both 10th and 12th grade of high school. Their minimum criteria of required percentage in 10th grade and 12th grade were 7 CGPA and 73% respectively and luckily I was eligible to fit into it. And then I was given certain university documents to fill in and then,I was enrolled soon.
